GM Cutshall apparently forgot to contact the Week 16 front desk to leave a wakeup call, the blacked-out team failing to register a point two days into the stanza. The Boulder Flyers won’t be filing a complaint, GM Morgan’s grateful birds leading the stray Cats by the same number of points that they have scored.

With three Dallas forwards, the Vegas Vipers fortunes often rest on how the Stars team performs. On Tuesday the Stars were blanked, as such, the Vipers were laying goose eggs as they slid into 2nd place. Compounding matters, Ice Hog Andrei Vasilevskiy was the player who administered the 35 save shutout, a league-best 18.0 point outing providing the pigs with a 15.9 point lead.

Viktor Arvidsson almost single-handedly lifted the Central Red Army back into this non-divisional match, the 25 year-old winger ripping a 9.0 point hat trick, the Army now trailing the Ducks by just 1.4 points heading into a light 5-game Wednesday.

Misconducts: 14.4­
Fighting for their playoff lives, the Bluliners netted 8.0 points on Tuesday. The number was better than the number posted by their opponent - but not by much - GM Hamilton’s win-needy squad now leading the favored Misconducts by 5.6.

Polar Bears: 16.5
SC Cobras: 14.0­
After scoring nothing on opening day - and finding themselves in a rather deep hole - the SC Cobras responded in a big way, GM Murphy’s on-the-bubble team collecting 14.0 points on Tuesday, their deficit now manageable at just 2.5.

Badger Bob: 9.0
Concussion Junction: 11.6
Concussion Junction outpointed their opponent by 3.6 on Day 2, GM Brendan’s squad moving 2.6 points in front of Badger Bob. The Junk also used Tuesday to distance themselves from the FHL basement, their lead over the cellar-dwelling Bobs now 9.1 points.
