WEEK 14 (FINAL) Empty
PostSubject: WEEK 14 (FINAL)   WEEK 14 (FINAL) EmptyMon Jan 07, 2019 10:39 am

Darnell Nurse registered the biggest assist of his FHL career during the final game of Week 14, the unheralded defender nudging the Vegas Vipers past the head-shaking Boulder Flyers, the Vipers postseason hopes still very much alive after defeating the favored Flyers by 0.8.

Vegas Vipers: 68.9
Boulder Flyers: 68.1
Don’t look now but the Vegas Vipers are just 1.5 games behind the 7th and final playoff spot, GM Miller’s squad improving to 5-8-1; a record that places the team in 2nd place in the Grimson, 3.5 games behind the division leader. The Boulder Flyers meanwhile saw their division lead shaved to a single game, GM Morgan and his birds still perched atop the Probert with a record of 9-5.

Bluliners: 68.0
Wild Ducks: 61.2

The playoff race got mighty interesting after all three division leaders lost in Week 14. One of those division leaders was the Wild Ducks, GM Collard’s Grimson-best squad now 9-5 after succumbing to the Bluliners. The Bluliners improved to 6-7-1 with the victory. Lodged in 3rd place in the Probert, GM Hamilton's squad is still sitting outside of postseason play, trailing the 7th and final playoff spot by 0.5 games.

Polar Bears: 42.5
Misconducts: 40.3
The Polar Bears held on to upset the Misconducts, the Bears staying in the playoff chase with the much-needed win. Seated 2 games behind the last playoff spot, GM Elya brings a 5-9 record to Week 15. The Misconducts are 9-5 after falling. While the Misconducts lead remains strong at 2 games, GM Smalley can’t get comfortable as his team is lodged in the leagues most competitive division; all four Domi teams currently playoff worthy.

Central Red Army: 66.1
SC Cobras: 47.6
Another stellar week has gifted the Central Red Army their 7th victory of the season, the team tied with two others for 2nd place in the Domi; a 7-7 mark placing the Army just inside the playoff picture. The SC Cobras slipped to 7-7 with the lopsided loss. Though still a playoff-qualifier despite their recent slide, there is little room for error with only 8 weeks remaining in the H2H regular season.

Ice Hogs: 58.5
Badger Bob: 41.1

The lowest score of the week dropped Badger Bob farther out of playoff contention, a record of 5-9 placing the Bobs in the Grimson division basement; 4 games behind the division leader and 2 games shy of the final spot in the playoffs. The Ice Hogs improved to 8-6 with the win, the squad moving to within one game of the Probert division lead. GM Henry's playoff fortunes also improved, the Hogs H2H record better than all but three teams.

Concussion Junction: 53.8
Ice Cats: 50.7
Concussion Junction’s resurgence continues at the once down-and-out franchise moved inside the playoff picture after clipping the Cats, GM Brendan’s playoff-worthy squad now 7-7 for the season. The Ice Cats were dispatched to the Probert basement after falling, GM Cutshall’s team now 6-8 on the season; 3 games behind the Probert leader but just one game outside of the playoffs.

SC Cobras v. Wild Ducks
Bluliners v. Polar Bears
Central Red Army v. Misconducts
Vegas Vipers v. Ice Cats
Concussion Junction v. Ice Hogs
Boulder Flyers v. Badger Bob
