PostSubject: WEEK 9 (thru Saturday)   Sun Dec 02, 2018 1:52 pm

It didn’t take long for Shea Weber to get up to speed, the now-healthy hardshot defender collecting two goals and 9.0 points on just his second day on the job, his Ice Hogs team netting 13.0 points in all, the Hogs moving into 4th place in the overall standings.

Ice Hogs: 38.0
Polar Bears: 33.7

The Ice Hogs enjoyed a solid Saturday but the Polar Bears day was a tad better, GM Elya’s squad netting 15.3, the Bears now in 6th place overall and just 4.3 points behind the sweating Hogs.

Central Red Army: 30.5
Vegas Vipers: 66.4

“THUMP!!” was the sound of the Central Red Army hitting the basement floor, the team tossed into the FHL pit after securing a league-low 4.0 points on Saturday. The Vegas Vipers meanwhile will soon shed their losing streak, the team leading the Army by (gonna need my toes for this one, hang on while I remove my shoes) .............................. 35.9.

Badger Bob: 48.5
SC Cobras: 49.9

The final day of this match is “Must-See TV, Badger Bob outpointing the SC Cobras 9.0 to 6.9 on Saturday, the SC Cobras advantage shaved to just 1.4 as both teams skate into a six-game closer.

Ice Cats: 44.4
Wild Ducks: 44.3

Speaking of “Must-See TV,” this one is “Must-See-er TV,” the Wild Ducks scoring 1.2 points more than their opponent on Saturday, GM Collard’s squad now trailing the Ice Cats by literally the smallest of margins.

Bluliners: 25.3
Concussion Junction: 43.9

The worst score of the week has dropped the Bluliners into 8th place, the fading team now 46.2 points behind the best of the FHL. The H2H picture isn’t any prettier, GM Hamilton’s wheels-spinning squad trailing the wheels-moving Concussion Junction by 18.6.

Misconducts: 39.7
Boulder Flyers: 53.1

The Boulder Flyers tapped Saturday for a league-best 15.8 points, this once very close match now not as close, GM Morgan’s birds, 5-3, leading the 6-2 Misconducts by 13.4.
