PostSubject: WEEK 8 (thru Friday)   Sat Nov 24, 2018 1:24 pm

The Polar Bears remarkable turnaround season continues as goaltender Carter Hutton (31 saves) won his 7th consecutive game, his team shredding Friday for 34.1 points, GM Elya’s on-the-move franchise jumping five spots in the overall standings, the Bears now resting comfortably in 3rd place.

Concussion Junction: 41.4
Polar Bears: 68.0

Concussion Junction is playing well but they’re no match for the Polar Bear Express, GM Elya’s take-no-prisoners squad now leading this non-divisional rout by 26.6.

Badger Bob: 40.8
Central Red Army: 40.6

Both angry and embarrassed after learning he won an FHL Turkey Award®©™, Erik Karlsson immediately upped his game, the Central Red Army defender uncorking 9.0 points (1g, 2a), the Army marching back into this match, trailing the Bobs by just 0.2.

SC Cobras: 60.2
Boulder Flyers: 26.0

The Fat Lady is en route to New Baltimore, Michigan - employed to belt out a tune at this lopsided affair - the SC Cobras padding both their overall lead and their lead over the bumbling Flyers; a lead now 33.8 points thick with not enough days remaining in the week.

Wild Ducks: 19.8
Ice Hogs: 36.2

The Wild Ducks appear to be migrating south for the winter, the team and their lousy Friday now seated in 7th place. The Ice Hogs meanwhile are basking in the Ducks ongoing misery, Henry’s Hogs now 16.4 points better than Collard’s quivering quacks.

Ice Cats: 38.0
Bluliners: 47.2

The Ice Cats need a win to stay in the Probert division chase. Friday didn’t help as they were outpointed by their division rival, the Bluliners now leading by 9.2 with Saturday and Sunday remaining in the week.

Misconducts: 43.9
Vegas Vipers: 39.7

The win-starved Vegas Vipers are embroiled in another heated duel, the Misconducts getting the better of GM Miller’s squad on Friday, the Vipe trailing by 4.2 as they skate into a heavy 11-game Saturday.
