PostSubject: WEEK 6 (thru Monday)   Tue Nov 06, 2018 10:22 am

The Polar Bears are showing no signs of slowing down as the team bolted out of the Week 6 blocks, Claude Giroux (2g, 1a) potting 7.0 of his teamís league-best 11.0 points, the once hibernating Bears moving to within a manageable ≠51.9 points of first place.

Polar Bears: 11.0
Boulder Flyers: 5.0

On paper this match looks like a no-brainer to predict as the 4-1 Boulder Flyers travel to the other side of New Baltimore to battle the 1-4 Polar Bears. All is not what it seems however as the Bears are currently playing the best hockey in the league, an 11.0 point opener seating GM Elya on a 6.0 point cushion.

Wild Ducks: 1.0
Vegas Vipers: 2.0

A pivotal Grimson division clash as the soaring Wild Ducks (4-1) take on the sagging Vegas Vipers (2-3). The Vipers have lost three consecutive matches and are in dire need of a victory. Unfortunately for the Vipers and their chances of escaping Week 6 with a win, the Ducks are a formidable foe, the best of the Grimson also the best of the FHL.

Badger Bob: 10.0
Bluliners: 3.0

A non-division clash featuring Badger Bob (2-3) and the Bluliners (3-2). The Bobs have already positioned themselves well, defenseman Will Butcher (1g, 2a) netting 9.0 points on Day 1, GM Chesterís underdogs already 7.0 points better than the favored Bluliners.

Ice Hogs: 7.0
Central Red Army: 5.0

Unaccustomed to having a sub .500 record, GM Buker hopes to right his H2H ship in Week 6; a week that sees the 2-3 Central Red Army taking on the 3-2 Ice Hogs. Very little separates the two teams after Monday, the playing-well Hogs leading the playing-not-as-well Army by 2.0.

Ice Cats: 0.0
SC Cobras: 1.0

Last week the SC Cobras were favored to win as they were paired with the worst team in the league. They lost. This week the Cobras are again paired with the worst team in the league. With a record of 1-4, they canít afford to lose again. The Ice Cats situation isnít quite as desperate but itís not good, the 2-3 Cats also starving for a win.

Misconducts: 7.0
Concussion Junction: 2.0

Itís practically must-win time for Concussion Junction as the 2-3 squad locks horns with their division leader, the 4-1 Misconducts. After one day this all-Smalley affair is siding with the elder, the Misconducts up by 5.0 with six days remaining in the week.
