PostSubject: WEEK 26 (thru Monday)   Tue Apr 03, 2018 12:39 pm

It has yet to be determined who will ultimately reside in the FHL penthouse suite, but the already plush digs received yet another upgrade - a new rug added to the spacious living area - the endangered Polar Bears skinned again on Monday, GM Elya's last place team now 7.4 points deep.

The Scrap for the Laughing Bag
With the sun setting on the season it's looking more likely that the Polar Bears will become just the third team in league history to be labeled the best and the worst; teams that have won both the FHL Cup and the Laughing Bag. Meanwhile, the Vegas Vipers health was upgraded from "critical" to "serious," defenseman Thomas Chabot providing the medication in the form of a 2g, 1a, 12.0 point game. The SC Cobras carded 9.0 points but have not been able to relax; memories of life in the basement still fresh in their head.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
Day 1 of the final showdown for the FHL Cup and it's $500.00 prize was more-or-less a draw, Matt Duchene (2g, 1a) and his Bluliners collecting 9.0 points while Badger Bob - lead by the play of Connor Hellebuyck (32 save win) - carded 8.2. All told the Bluliners now trail the banged-up Bobs by 9.2 points with now, only six days remaining in the 2017-18 season.

The Bout for the Money
New-hire Zach Parise potted two goals for his Central Red Army team - two important goals as GM Buker's squadron has come under fire, the Boulder Flyers netting a league-best 13.4 points, the 4th place birds closing to within 5.2 points of 3rd place and it's $175.00 prize. The 5th place Wild Ducks also scooted forward, a 10.7 point showing placing GM Collard's team 27.3 points behind the money.
