PostSubject: WEEK 23 (FINAL)   Mon Mar 19, 2018 12:45 pm

With 3 goals, 4 assists and 24.0 FHL points in two weekend games, Alex Pietrangelo almost singlehandedly carried his team to the semifinals of the H2H playoffs, the Wild Ducks collecting 19.7 points on Sunday to defeat the hardluck Misconducts by 7.4.

First round, Playoffs
Playoffs are three weeks in length (Weeks 23-25). Prize money is awarded to three teams: the H2H champion ($100.00), runner-up ($70.00) and winner of the consolation match ($30.00).

Wild Ducks: 67.4
Misconducts: 60.0

Netting 16.0 points, the Misconducts were good on Sunday but they were no match for the Wild Ducks, GM Smalley dispatched to the golf course while the Ducks will travel to New Jersey for a match with Badger Bob.

Central Red Army: 83.1
Polar Bears: 32.7

The Central Red Army were the best of Week 23 but they didn't have to be, the Polar Bears posting the lowest score of the week. As such, GM Elya will join seven other teams at the FHL links while GM Buker will travel to a semifinal meeting with the Bluliners.

Bluliners: 54.6
Ice Cats: 52.5

The Ice Cats rallied on Sunday - potting 12.0 - but fell just short of the Bluliners, GM Hamilton advancing to the penultimate playoff match on the strength of a good-enough 8.0 point Sunday.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
The dizzy people watching the battle for the FHL Cup now have a full-blown case of vertigo, the Bluliners reclaiming the top spot on Sunday, their lead over Badger Bob a mere 0.1. The Wild Ducks are now on the radar, the defending FHL Cup champion moving to within 45.6 points of first place. The three-time champion Boulder Flyers trail by 43.2.

The Bout for the Money
The Boulder Flyers still hold the last money card but the Wild Ducks and Central Red Army are closing fast, GM Collard's squad now just 2.4 points in back of 3rd place; the Army trailing by 17.6.

The Scrap for the Laughing Bag
The Vegas Vipers pushed back on Sunday, a 13.0 point outing placing the headless team 29.0 points in front of the last place SC Cobras, with now, three weeks remaining in the season.

Wild Ducks v. Badger Bob
Bluliners v. Central Red Army
