PostSubject: WEEK 23 (thru Friday)   Sat Mar 17 2018, 13:48

The SC Cobras want absolutely nothing to do with the Laughing Bag - evidenced by Evander Kane's attire when fielding questions about his 4 goal, 14.0 point performance on Friday - his determined team and their league-best 27.0 point outing now just 26.0 points behind the 11th place Vegas Vipers.

The Scrap for the Laughing Bag
Once a lock to take home the FHL booby prize, the SC Cobras are a lock no more, the team's never-give-up GM continuing to make roster moves with the sole intent of reeling in the gave-up Vegas Vipers.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
In what is shaping up to be one of the best finishes in FHL history, the Bluliners shoved Badger Bob out of first place on Friday, the team's 9.0 point performance providing GM Hamilton with a 1.6 point lead.

The Bout for the Money
The Boulder Flyers weren't great but they were better than both the Wild Ducks and Central Red Army, the Flyers and their 7.0 Friday points now 19.1 points in front of the Ducks; 24.6 points better than the Army.

First round, Playoffs
Playoffs are three weeks in length (Weeks 23-25). Prize money is awarded to three teams: the H2H champion ($100.00), runner-up ($70.00) and winner of the consolation match ($30.00).

Central Red Army: 61.1
Polar Bears: 20.4

The week isn't over yet but the Polar Bears have already been laid to rest at the FHL Cemetery, the Central Red Army leading by 40.7 points with only 18 weekend games remaining in the first round of the playoffs.

Wild Ducks: 35.7
Misconducts: 42.0

With Malkin, Crosby and Letang sitting until Tuesday of next week, the Wild Ducks have their work cut out for them as they attempt to unstuff the Misconducts 6.3 point cushion.

Bluliners: 43.6
Ice Cats: 36.2

The Ice Cats kept pace with the Bluliners but keeping pace isn't going to cut it, GM Cutshall's squad trailing by 7.4 points with Week 23 barreling down the homestretch.
