PostSubject: WEEK 17 (thru Thursday)   Fri Feb 02, 2018 1:33 pm

The SC Cobras might not have much to play for but they're not going down without a fight, the league's last place team posting the league's best Thursday score, Erik Karlsson and his 6.0 point outing (1g, 1a) leading the 17.9 point assault.

SC Cobras: 43.6
Misconducts: 60.9

The SC Cobras were good on Thursday but they make little headway in their attempt to catch their opponent - the Misconducts uncorking a solid 14.0 of their own, GM Smalley's cushion still comfortable at 17.3 points.

Boulder Flyers: 66.6
Bluliners: 40.9

GM Hamilton has his foot on the gas but the Bluliners wheels do nothing but spin, the Boulder Flyers increasing their lead by 5.2 on Thursday, the smirking birds now 25.7 points in front.

Mooses: 47.7
Badger Bob: 55.3

The must-win Mooses inched 2.0 points closer to their opponent on Thursday and now trail Badger Bob by 7.6. The Bobs meanwhile took a hit in the overall standings, the once-in-2nd-place squad now seated in 3rd.

Vegas Vipers: 44.2
Ice Hogs: 47.8

The Vegas Vipers were better than the Ice Hogs on Thursday, but only slightly, GM Miller's must-win team now trailing the must-win Hogs by 3.6.

Polar Bears: 60.4
Ice Cats: 47.9

The Polar Bears dumped 12.0 points on the Ice Cats - twice the number of points unearthed by the Cats - GM Elya's team now skating on thick ice, the Bears leading by 12.5.

Wild Ducks: 44.0
Central Red Army: 49.8

The Central Red Army enjoyed a 10.4 point outing - which was better than the numbers posted by the Wild Ducks, GM Buker's squad now leading by 5.8 with three days remaining in the week.
