PostSubject: WEEK 17 (thru Wednesday)   Thu Feb 01, 2018 12:43 pm

Hungry for points after being shutout on Tuesday, the Vegas Vipers turned to goaltender Frederik Andersen. The second round draft pick didn't disappoint, a 28 save shutout drawing the Vipers to within 4.8 points of their opponent and a much-needed win.

Vegas Vipers: 36.2
Ice Hogs: 41.0

With a record of 7-9, a loss could permanently remove the Ice Hogs from the postseason picture. The Vegas Vipers are nearly as desperate, GM Miller's 8-8 team still trying to get their mitts on the elusive seventh and final playoff spot - both GM's with their seatbelts fastened as they drive toward a huge 12-game Thursday.

Boulder Flyers: 53.4
Bluliners: 32.9

With Brent Burns and John Tavares taking to the ice the Bluliners were in a position to rack-up points. Rack-up points they did not, the Boulder Flyers increasing their lead by 3.0, GM Morgan's aggravating team now leading this Probert division dance by 20.5.

Badger Bob: 50.3
Mooses: 40.7

Badger Bob was the only team to register a point on a quiet three-game Wednesday, GM Chester's squad now leading the Mooses by 9.6; the second place Bobs drawing to within 80.7 of the front-running Bluliners.

Polar Bears: 48.4
Ice Cats: 41.9

After working hard on Tuesday the Ice Cats took Wednesday off, GM Cutshall's 10-6 squad now trailing the 9-7 Polar Bears by 6.5.

Wild Ducks: 38.0
Central Red Army: 39.4

With a record of 8-8 and the holder of the final playoff card, the Wild Ducks cannot afford to lose. Losing they are after the Central Red Army potted 2.0 points on Wednesday, GM Collard's Ducks now trailing the 9-7 Army by 1.4.

SC Cobras: 25.7
Misconducts: 46.5

There are still four days remaining in the week but the Fat Lady has already been told to book a flight to Southern California, the Misconducts now 20.8 points in front after dumping another 6.0 into their widening points barrel.
