PostSubject: WEEK 15 (thru Saturday)   Sun Jan 14, 2018 2:25 pm

Buoyed by the improved play of their three Penguins (Crosby, Malkin and Letang) the Wild Ducks are dangerous once again; the trio combining for 13.0 points on Saturday - the defending champion Ducks moving onto fifth place in the overall standings.

Ice Hogs: 35.5
Wild Ducks: 37.1

In addition to moving north in the standings the Wild Ducks also vaulted in front of the Ice Hogs, GM Collard's can't-afford-to-lose team now leading this pivotal match by 1.6 points. Note: the FHL News department was instructed not to mention Mathew Barzal and his benched 13.0 point game (2g, 3a) as it's still not known if all the sharp objects were successfully removed from GM Collard's place of residence.

Central Red Army: 29.4
Vegas Vipers: 26.0

The Vegas Vipers were the best Saturday team, a 14.0 point outpouring drawing the Vipe back into this crucial H2H match, GM Miller's squad now trailing by just 3.4.

Badger Bob: 22.3
SC Cobras: 13.0

There is joy in Cobraville as the team collected 8.0 points on Saturday, the snakes no longer in danger of breaking the FHL record for futility. The points however were not enough to overwhelm Badger Bob, GM Chester's team still leading by 9.3 points.

Bluliners: 39.6
Polar Bears: 47.5

Matt Dumba deposited another two goals on Saturday (9.0 points), his Polar Bears team moving further away from the frustrated Bluliners; the Bears now leading by 7.9 points with a quiet four-game Sunday closing the week.

Boulder Flyers: 34.4
Ice Cats: 37.8

The Boulder Flyers tried to move past the Ice Cats on Saturday but their efforts were rebuffed, GM Cutshall's shorthanded team netting 7.0 points, their advantage now 3.4.

Mooses: 27.5
Misconducts: 36.8

The Mooses were better than the Misconducts on Saturday but the damage done during the week appears to be irreversible, GM Smalley's team quietly putting the kibosh on the Mooses and their postseason hopes.
