PostSubject: WEEK 14 (thru Saturday)   Sun Jan 07, 2018 1:51 pm

His game tethered for most of the season, Patrice Bergeron was unleashed on Saturday evening, the Mooses forward netting 17.0 (4g, 1a) of his team's season-best 36.7 points - a number just 4.0 points shy of the single-day FHL record - his thought-to-be-dead team now 10.8 points better than their opponent in a must-win H2H match.

Mooses: 61.1
Boulder Flyers: 51.2

The Boulder Flyers carded a respectable 15.8 points but were buried by the Mooses not-in-the-forecast point-storm. Trailing by 11.0 points on Friday - and on the verge of being shoved out of the playoff picture - the Mooses are back in the hunt, GM McCormick's 4-9 team hopeful of both a win and the prolonging of their dreams of participating in the postseason.

Bluliners: 48.4
Vegas Vipers: 46.6

Defenseman John Klingberg (1g, 2a, 9.0 points) paced the Bluliners attack, the relatively quiet squad erupting for 17.5 points on Saturday. That's the good news. The bad news: the Vegas Vipers trumped GM Hamilton's Saturday, GM Miller's team netting 20.4 points to remain in contention for an important H2H win, now trailing the Bluliners by just 1.8 points.

Badger Bob: 51.3
Polar Bears: 19.0

The Fat Lady almost blew a lung while performing for this match, Badger Bob netting 17.0 points on Saturday - their lead over the limp Polar Bears even more insurmountable than it was yesterday. Badger Bob's saturated Saturday was also important as it allowed them to keep pace with the Bluliners, the second place team now 51.0 points back.

Misconducts: 19.0
Ice Hogs: 43.2

When the Fat Lady finishes with the Polar Bears she'll turn her attention to this match, the Ice Hogs now leading the failing Misconducts by 24.2 points. The Hogs netted just 2.0 points on an otherwise point-heavy Saturday but the Misconducts weren't much better, GM Smalley's sinking team collecting just 4.0.

Wild Ducks: 33.0
Ice Cats: 39.6

In danger of being caught and passed by the Wild Ducks, the Ice Cats pushed back on Saturday, outpointing GM Collard's squad 9.0 to 6.0. As a result the Cats advantage is a tad thicker, GM Cutshall's 9-4 team now 6.6 points better than the 5-8 Ducks.

Central Red Army: 34.8
SC Cobras: 23.3

The SC Cobras were better than the Central Red Army on Saturday - but only slightly - the snakes still trailing the Army by a lot. GM Murphy remains hopeful however as a robust 10-game Sunday is still in the Week 14 cards.
