PostSubject: WEEK 9 (thru Monday)   Tue Nov 28, 2017 12:20 pm

The Polar Bears rolled the dice on Alex DeBrincat and hit the jackpot. A virtual unknown just yesterday, DeBrincat is the new toast of the town, the diminutive 5'7" sniper bagging 12.0 points (3g, 1a) in his FHL debut, his revitalized Polar Bears team rocking Monday for 23.0 points.

Polar Bears: 23.0
Wild Ducks: 14.3

You'd think the Polar Bears would be seated on a thick cushion after such a gaudy start to the week. Not so as the Wild Ducks posted the second best Monday score, GM Elya's team leading by just 8.7 points in this winner-stays-in-the-race Grimson division battle.

Misconducts: 12.5
Bluliners: 7.0

The Misconducts received 3.0 points from new-hire Justin Schultz (2a) - the team netting 12.5 points in all - GM Smalley's fifth place squad leading the first place Bluliners by 5.5.

Ice Cats: 4.3
Vegas Vipers: 8.0

A match that features two of the best H2H teams in the league - both the Vegas Vipers and Ice Cats sporting a record of 6-2. The Vipers were the better team on Monday, an 8.0 point showing providing GM Miller with a 3.7 point lead.

Central Red Army: 12.7
Boulder Flyers: 2.0

The Central Red Army stomped on the already prone Boulder Flyers, a strong 12.7 point start to the week dumping the compliant Flyers into a 10.7 point hole.

SC Cobras: 2.8
Mooses: 1.0

The battle for the basement finds the 11th place SC Cobras locking nerf horns with the 12th place Mooses. Neither team was especially good on Monday, the coughing Cobras leading the medicated Mooses by 1.8.

Badger Bob: 7.7
Ice Hogs: 2.0

Badger Bob carded 7.7 points on Monday, the surging team scooting into 4th place overall. The points also provided GM Chester with a H2H lead as they currently sit 5.7 rows in front of the Ice Hogs.
