While Badger Bob housed the best Saturday player, the Ice Hogs were the best Saturday team, an Alexander Ovechkin hat trick pacing the 21.7 point attack. The influx of points lifted the Hogs into third place overall while also providing the two-time champ with an insurmountable H2H lead; the Hogs now 20.5 points better than the bending Bluliners.

Central Red Army: 35.4The Ice Cats departed Saturday with 9.0 points - again moving closer to the first place Bluliners - GM Cutshall's on-fire squad now just 18.3 points out of first place. The Central Red Army coughed-up 10.6 points but their deficit remains more than large, now trailing a win by 30.4 points.

It was not a good night to be a Boulder Flyers fan as the team carded only 3.0 points. Once again the SC Cobras took advantage of their misfiring opponent, a 10.6 point showing providing GM Murphy and his snakes with an insurmountable 21.9 point advantage.
Polar Bears: 52.5
Misconducts: 48.4The Polar Bears recaptured the lead on Saturday, racing past the Misconducts on the strength of a 11.2 point Saturday. The Misconducts could only locate 5.7 points, the team not only falling behind the Bears but also stumbling to eighth place in the overall standings.
Vegas Vipers: 36.5
Mooses: 37.3The Mooses only potted 2.0 points on Saturday but the Vegas Vipers failed to take advantage of their now-in-last-place opponent; a 2.0 point night of their own leaving the Vipers 0.8 points back with only a three-game Sunday left to be played.
