PostSubject: WEEK 7 (thru Saturday)   Sun Nov 19, 2017 1:01 pm

Trailing the Boulder Flyers the entire week, the Vegas Vipers finally returned fire on Saturday, a Frederik Andersen 33 save shutout (and an assist) guiding the team toward a league-best 27.6 point evening, the Grimson division leader now deadlocked with the Flyers at 59.3.

Boulder Flyers: 59.3
Vegas Vipers: 59.3

The Boulder Flyers were good on Saturday, netting 15.0 points, but they were buried by the Vegas Vipers avalanche, GM Miller's streaking squad moving into second place overall, their sixth win of the season again a possibility; both teams sending four players to the ice on Sunday.

Bluliners: 35.5
Ice Cats: 47.7

Struggling the entire week, the Bluliners found their legs on Saturday, a 17.5 point performance pushing most of the contending teams backwards. A win however doesn't appear to be in the cards, Sean Monahan (3g, 1a) and his Ice Cats netting the second best Saturday score (18.8 points), GM Cutshall's lead still comfortable at 12.2 points.

Wild Ducks: 45.3
SC Cobras: 15.8

On Saturday the SC Cobras became the first team to fall three figures behind the league leader, GM Murphy's squad now trailing the first place Bluliners by 100.3 points. Adding to the woes of the Cobras is an impending loss, the fourth place Wild Ducks leading by too many points with not enough days remaining in the week.

Badger Bob: 38.4
Misconducts: 34.2

Badger Bob wasn't especially good on Saturday as they pocketed only 10.6 points - but they were better than the suddenly struggling Misconducts, GM Smalley's squad tumbling into sixth place after a disappointing 8.5 point showing, the Bobs leading this non-divisional match by 4.2.

Central Red Army: 47.4
Mooses: 36.0

The Central Red Army apparently unloaded all of their ammunition on Thursday as points have quickly become scarce, a 5.0 point Saturday dropping the Army into seventh place overall, their lead over the eleventh place Mooses a tad smaller at 11.4.

Polar Bears: 34.4
Ice Hogs: 44.0

The battle of 3-3 teams is leaning in the direction of the Ice Hogs - the Hogs netting 16.0 points to move further ahead of the Polar Bears, GM Henry's eighth place team now leading the tenth place Bears by 9.6 points with a five-game Sunday still to be played.
