PostSubject: WEEK 7 (thru Wednesday)   Thu Nov 16, 2017 12:10 pm

Long on promise short on delivery, Anthony Mantha has elevated his game in 2017-18, the Boulder Flyers winger pocketing another 7.0 points on Wednesday (2g, 1a), the late seventh round draft pick now with 10 goals and 9 assists in 19 games.

Boulder Flyers: 29.0
Vegas Vipers: 11.0

A near cellar-dweller in the early weeks of the season, the Boulder Flyers have risen to third place in the overall standings, GM Morgan's streaking team now 40.2 points out of first place; 18.0 points better than their befuddled Week 7 opponent.

Bluliners: 14.0
Ice Cats: 9.6

The Bluliners padded their advantage on a quiet three-game Wednesday, GM Hamilton's first place team now 4.4 points better than the sixth place Ice Cats.

Badger Bob: 9.0
Misconducts: 17.7

With the week barreling down the backstretch the Misconducts remain in front, GM Smalley's team now leading this two-horse race by 8.7 furlongs.

Wild Ducks: 14.0
SC Cobras: 8.6

The Wild Ducks accomplished nothing on Wednesday - allowing the SC Cobras to slither back into this H2H battle, GM Murphy's team now trailing by only 5.4.

Polar Bears: 14.6
Ice Hogs: 14.0

The Ice Hogs outpointed the Polar Bears 5.0 to 0.0 on Wednesday, GM Henry's pigs back in the mix, trailing the Bears by just 0.6 points with four days remaining in the week.

Central Red Army: 9.0
Mooses: 9.2

The Mooses have a pulse as they ambled past the stationary Central Red Army on Day 3, GM McCormick's gasping team now 0.2 points in front.

PostSubject: B2 heading into Thursday night   Thu Nov 16, 2017 12:42 pm

In order to put some heat on the opponent, B2 really needs Tommy G. to come up big in goal for Islanders against Carolina. (He was big in previous outing at end of last week, an easy win over strong St. Louis team.)

Showing faith in Tommy G. Left Hellebucyk of Winnipeg on bench and he would have provided 3.3 points, 33 saves in a win over Arizona, Tuesday night had he been in the lineup. Lineup decisions part of the challenge.
