Andrei Vasilevskiy and Martin Jones provided key victories for their teams on Sunday as the Boulder Flyers and SC Cobras stunned their heavily favored opponents; the 0-5 Flyers toppling the first place Bluliners; the 0-5 SC Cobras taking down the second place Misconducts.Boulder Flyers: 52.6
Bluliners: 50.9After being taunted by the Boulder Flyers last year - the feeble Flyers winning both of their H2H matches - the Bluliners were seeking revenge. Revenge they did not get as GM Morgan's previously winless squad upended the Bluliners again, rallying on the final day of the week to claim their first victory of the season. The win leaves the Flyers with a record of 1-5; three games behind the Probert division-leading Bluliners and their 4-2 mark. Despite the loss GM Hamilton still managed a smile, his playing-well first place team now 42.9 points in front.
SC Cobras: 45.7
Misconducts: 40.2
The SC Cobras skated past the Misconducts on Saturday - and then held their ground on Sunday - the snarky snakes improving to 1-5 with the upset win. The victory moved the Cobras to within three games of the Misconducts in the Domi division. In defeat the Misconducts fell to 4-2; the Domi leader currently one game better than the Central Red Army.
Central Red Army: 39.8
Wild Ducks: 31.7The Central Red Army wasn't great in Week 6 but they were better than the misfiring Wild Ducks, GM Buker's record now square at 3-3; a mark that leaves the Army just one game behind the division leading Misconducts. After starting the season strong the Wild Ducks continue to flounder, GM Collard's glossy third place overall team now sporting a not-so-glossy H2H record of 2-4.
Vegas Vipers: 56.8
Ice Hogs: 46.4After losing their first match last week, the Vegas Vipers rebounded in fine fashion, GM Miller's squad improving to a league-best 5-1 - good for a one game lead in the Grimson division. The Ice Hogs played well in Week 6 but couldn't locate a win, the franchise now seated in third place in the Probert division; one game behind the Bluliners and Cats.
Badger Bob: 54.1
Mooses: 35.6Badger Bob's stock continues to rise, the team improving to 4-2 with the beatdown of the Mooses. The Bobs are now seated in second place in the Grimson division, just one game behind the Vegas Vipers. The Mooses are now 2-4 on the year; two games back in the Domi division, but more disturbingly, still shackled in the FHL cellar.
Polar Bears: 42.1
Ice Cats: 27.9
The worst score of the week isn't going to get you much - and it didn't get the Ice Cats much in Week 6, GM Cutshall's napping Cats falling to 4-2 on the year. Despite the loss the Cats still remain on top of the Probert, tied with the Bluliners. The Polar Bears evened their record at 3-3, the Bears still in the Grimson title hunt, just two games in back of the division-leading Vegas Vipers.
