PostSubject: WEEK 5 (thru Saturday)   Sun Nov 05, 2017 1:18 pm

Drafted in the middle of the third round, the unheralded Alex Pietrangelo is leading all NHL defensemen with six goals and nine assists in 15 games, a 9.0 point (2g) Saturday drawing his Wild Ducks back into the money - GM Collard's rebounding squad now in third place.

Boulder Flyers: 39.0
Wild Ducks: 47.4

Barring a minor miracle (or an adding error) the Boulder Flyers will soon fall to 0-5 on the season, Alex Pietrangelo and company netting a league-best 20.3 points on Saturday, the Wild Ducks cushion now comfortably thick at 8.4 points.

Misconducts: 47.3
Ice Cats: 50.3

The undefeated Misconducts could soon have a blemish on their record as they teeter on the edge of defeat, a 16.8 point Saturday not enough to catch and pass the Ice Cats who now lead this spirited affair by 3.0 points.

Badger Bob: 46.9
Vegas Vipers: 50.6

It was Kevin Shattenkirk to the rescue on Saturday as he carded 9.0 points (2g) for his Vegas Vipers team, GM Miller's 4-0 squad now leading the again-in-last-place Badger Bob by 3.7 points

SC Cobras: 51.4
Polar Bears: 52.9

Erik Karlsson answered GM Murphy's call for help - netting a goal - but the SC Cobras are once again staring down the barrel of a loss, the Polar Bears jumping in front, now 1.5 points better than the snakebitten snakes. (Note: Polar Bears score includes a 3.0 point Pekka Rinne assist that was missed on Friday).

Bluliners: 55.0
Central Red Army: 38.3

The Bluliners are well on their way to a 4-1 start, a 15.0 point Saturday further padding their lead, GM Hamilton's first place team now 16.7 points better than the white flag-waving Central Red Army.

Mooses: 42.9
Ice Hogs: 44.4

The Ice Hogs ripped 17.1 points on Saturday and now lead the suddenly dazed Mooses, GM Henry's 2-2 squad up by 1.5 points with only a four game Sunday left to be played.
