PostSubject: WEEK 5 (thru Thursday)   Fri Nov 03, 2017 11:58 am

Mark Scheifele was Thursday's Casanova, the 24 year-old center scoring three times, the Polar Bears and their 16.1 point Thursday now just 1.2 points in back of their suddenly nervous Week 5 opponent.

SC Cobras: 34.9
Polar Bears: 33.7

After Wednesday the SC Cobras thought their first win of the season was beckoning. That's no longer the case as the Polar Bears are banging on the Cobras wafer-thin front door, trailing by less than a goal with three days remaining in the week.

Boulder Flyers: 25.3
Wild Ducks: 22.1

"Maybe the Wild Ducks lead wasn't insurmountable after all," said GM Morgan after his Boulder Flyers unleashed 17.5 points on Thursday, the winless birds now 3.2 points better than the grounded Ducks.

Badger Bob: 31.9
Vegas Vipers: 35.6

The undefeated Vegas Vipers are again the better of the two Grimson division teams, a 14.0 point outing placing GM Miller's now-in-fifth-place team 3.7 points in front of the no-longer-in-last-place Badger Bob.

Bluliners: 40.0
Central Red Army: 20.3

If you're looking for the best team of the week, look no further than the best team of the season; a league-best 19.0 point Thursday placing the Bluliners 19.7 points in front of the shellshocked Central Red Army.

Misconducts: 25.5
Ice Cats: 33.3

The unblemished Misconducts are glaring at what would be their first loss of the season, the 4-0 team now trailing the Ice Cats and their 14.1 point Thursday by 7.8.

Mooses: 25.8
Ice Hogs: 27.3

The Ice Hogs jumped in front of the Mooses on Thursday, a 11.3 point performance good for a slim 1.5 point lead with a two-game Friday and the weekend still to be played.
