PostSubject: WEEK 4 (thru Monday)   Tue Oct 24, 2017 11:41 am

The season is only three weeks old and the SC Cobras and Boulder Flyers already have their H2H backs against the wall, both teams already in danger of being excused from the playoff chase; both teams desperate for a win after starting the season 0-3.

SC Cobras: 4.3
Badger Bob: 0.0

A victory could soon be on tap for the parched SC Cobras, their Week 4 opponent being the team that currently resides in the FHL cellar. So far so good for GM Murphy, Martin Jones (33 save win) helping to place the hopeful snakes 4.3 points in front of Badger Bob.

Boulder Flyers: 0.0
Ice Cats: 1.0

A win seems less likely for the win-free Boulder Flyers as they face-off against the playing-well, second place Ice Cats. A quiet two-game opener has GM Cutshall's team on top, the Cats leading the fluttering Flyers by a single point.

Wild Ducks: 1.0
Ice Hogs: 1.0

Both teams spent the opening round sizing up their opponent, a gentle slap to the face countered with a gentle slap to the face; the bout knotted at 1.0 with six rounds still to be contested.

Mooses: 0.0
Misconducts: 0.0

A pivotal Domi division match featuring the undefeated Misconducts (3-0) doing battle with the on-fire Mooses (2-1). With no shots fired on Monday, the war remains tied.

Polar Bears: 1.0
Bluliners: 1.0

The team that won their first match last week (Polar Bears) is pitted against the team that lost their first match last week. After Monday there's no separating the two, the contest tied at 1.0.

Central Red Army: 3.0
Vegas Vipers: 6.6

The Vegas Vipers were the best team on Day 1, Frederik Andersen backstopping a 36 save win. The Central Red Army countered with Logan Couture (1g, 1a), the Vipers leading by 3.6 heading into a busy 11 game Tuesday.
