WEEK 3 (thru Saturday) La69DJ3
With five goals and two assists in his past three games - including a three goal, 9.0 point effort on Saturday - Logan Couture has kept his Central Red Army team in the conversation, the 6th round draft pick currently ranked 4th among the top goal scorers in the NHL.

Central Red Army: 53.8
SC Cobras: 37.3

The SC Cobras netted 12.0 points on Saturday but they were no match for the Central Red Army, GM Bukers team unleashing 22.2 points, the ninth place Army well on their way to securing their second victory of the young season.

Mooses: 80.3
Boulder Flyers: 49.6

The Mooses remarkable turnaround continued on Saturday, the once-in-last-place, now-in-fifth-place team erupting for a league-best 32.6 points. The red hot Mooses are now only 22.9 points out of first. As it stands, the Boulder Flyers - trailing the Mooses by 30.7 points - will need a bag of cash (to bribe the scorekeeper) to have any chance of winning their first match of the season.

Wild Ducks: 34.8
Ice Cats: 45.6

The slumping first place Wild Ducks will soon have a losing H2H record, a paltry 6.8 point effort leaving the waddling Ducks 10.8 points in rear of the Ice Cats. The Cats meanwhile have quietly moved into the money, a sterling 21.0 point Saturday placing the veteran franchise in third place.

Misconducts: 35.4
Ice Hogs: 30.8

The Ice Hogs were once again the biggest mover, this time in the opposite direction, the former second place team now lodged in seventh place overall; 24.1 points back.  The Misconducts took full advantage of the misfiring Hogs, a 16.4 outpouring leaving GM Smalley's squad 4.6 points in front of their Week 3 opponent.

Badger Bob: 37.7
Polar Bears: 57.8

The Polar Bears were slightly better than Badger Bob on Day 6, GM Elya's team all but assured of winning their first match of the season - leading the Bobs by 20.1 points.  It wasn't all bad news for Badger Bob as they outpointed the first place team and now sit a closer-than-yesterday 57.7 points behind the front-runner.

Bluliners: 36.7
Vegas Vipers: 40.0

With no one skating in the lone Sunday game, the Bluliners will drop their first match of the season, a 15.3 point Saturday not quite enough to lasso the undefeated Vegas Vipers. At the conclusion of Week 3 the Vipers will be sporting a perfect 3-0 record, oddly enough as they remain seated in the lower half of the overall standings.
