PostSubject: WEEK 1 (thru Thursday)   Fri Oct 06, 2017 11:30 am

On the strength of a three goal game by Brandon Saad, the Misconducts were treated to first place in the overall standings, GM Smalley's on-fire squad posting a league-best 20.7 points on Thursday.

Wild Ducks: 29.7
Misconducts: 31.7

The Misconducts machine is humming early, Corey Crawford (28 saves) and Robin Lehner (38 saves) adding points to the pile created by Brandon Saad, GM Smalley's squad currently 2.0 points better than the also humming Wild Ducks.

Vegas Vipers: 24.5
SC Cobras: 3.0

The Vegas Vipers received 6.0 points from rookie defenseman Charlie McAvoy (1g, 1a), further padding their already well-padded lead, GM Miller's skipping squad now 21.5 points better than the stumbling SC Cobras.

Central Red Army: 29.3
Polar Bears: 24.9

The Polar Bears collected 17.0 points on Thursday, thanks in large part to Patrick Kane and his 8.0 point game (1g, 3a). The Central Red Army however continue to lead, Jonathan Quick keeping the Bears at bay with a 35 save, 7.0 point shutout.

Boulder Flyers: 17.0
Ice Hogs: 21.4

Alexander Ovechkin did what he does best - score goals - his 18th career hat trick providing his Ice Hogs team with a 4.4 point lead over the slightly dazed Boulder Flyers.

Mooses: 11.4
Ice Cats: 7.0

The Ice Cats finally got off the snide but failed to make up ground on their Week 1 opponent, the Mooses matching the Cats 6.0 point Thursday, GM McCormick's advantage still 4.4 points.

Badger Bob: 12.6
Bluliners: 9.1

The Bluliners netted 6.0 points on Thursday but couldn't keep pace with Badger Bob, the Bobs pocketing 7.6, GM Chester's team now leading by 3.5 points with Friday and the weekend still to be played.
