Publicly the Wild Ducks are saying it's too early to claim victory, issuing the following statement: "we haven't won anything yet, anything can happen in two days," however a surveillance photo of their headquarters - taken late Friday evening - appears to show members of the Ducks organization constructing a float for what is assumed to be a victory parade. GM Collard could not be reached for comment.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
You won't find any quieter days during the season as only one game was played on Friday. As such, the Ice Hogs and Wild Ducks took the time to prepare their weapons for the final battle, a total of 24 games being contested over the final two days of the season.

The Bout for the Money
The Ice Cats were the only contending team to pot points on Friday. The points however were not nearly enough, the Cats still a distant 24.9 points from greenland. The other contenders remain bunched at the weekend starting line, primed for what should be a furious elbows-flying race to the finish line.

The Scrap for the Laughing Bag
With only 7.8 points separating three teams there's no telling who will walk (with slumped shoulders) away with the Laughing Bag. What we do know: it will be either the Boulder Flyers, Between the Pipes or Silicon Valley Slashers.

Ice Cats: 18.4­
Friday was the Ice Cats time to shine. The Wild Ducks had no one dressed while Ice Cat heavyweights Nikita Kucherov and Mighty Max Pacioretty took to the ice. The end result wasn't as good as hoped for GM Cutshall, three Kucherov points leaving the Cats 3.6 points behind the phew-ing Wild Ducks.

Central Red Army: 41.0­
Both teams were idle on Friday, the Misconducts still facing a long, steep and rocky uphill climb, trailing the Central Red Army by 23.0 points with only Saturday and Sunday remaining on the 2016-17 schedule.

At first glance at the photo MorganWigge has described as Wild Ducks' employees constructing a float, I saw a lot of green and what looked like plants. Wondered what an indoor weed farming operation had to do with fantasy hockey. Then thought if I had correctly identified what was going on in the photo, it will be some parade if it happens!!! Cheech and Chong as guest hosts? Maybe the Wild Ducks have branched into a new business in Colorado?
