WEEK 24 (thru Thursday) MB70kee
Fans of the Central Red Army had plenty to cheer about on Thursday evening, the second year franchise posting a league-best 15.1 points. Once trailing the Wild Ducks by 23.0 points in the semifinals of the playoffs, GM Buker is now thinking "improbable comeback win," the surging Army now just 5.9 points behind the heavily favored Ducks.

Semifinals, H2H Playoffs

Wild Ducks: 38.5
Central Red Army: 32.6

The Wild Ducks were running away with this match but they're not running anymore, the limping Ducks leading by a bill with three jam-packed days remaining in the week.

Misconducts: 24.6
Ice Cats: 39.3

The Misconducts posted a respectable 10.0 points on Thursday but the Ice Cats wouldn't budge - the Cats collecting 10.0 points of their own, maintaining their stiff 14.7 point lead.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
With the banged-up Wild Ducks netting only 2.0 points on Thursday, the Ice Hogs initiated Operation MCOFEDTWC (Monster Comeback Over Final Eleven Days To Win Cup), the tenacious team clawing their way to within 29.1 points of first place.

The Bout for the Money
The Misconducts are still sitting on the money, the 3rd place team currently 6.5 points better than the 4th place Bluliners. The Central Red Army marched closer to the cash, the 5th place team now just 7.0 points behind the Misconducts. The Ice Cats remain in the money picture, trailing the $175.00 prize by 15.8 points.

The Scrap for the Laughing Bag
The Silicon Valley Slashers were the beneficiary of a big game from Dustin Byfuglien (1g, 2a), the 10th place team now 12.7 steps from the basement door. Between the Pipes are still enjoying sunlight, an 8.9 point outing placing the Pipes 3.3 points in front of the last place Boulder Flyers.
