WEEK 23 (thru Tuesday) C35vUki
Following the lead of defenseman Torey Krug (1g, 1a), the Central Red Army marched into the money on Tuesday, a 18.1 point effort lifting GM Buker's team into third place in the overall standings, the second year franchise now just 29.8 steps from first place.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
While the Central Red Army were shoving the Bluliners into fourth place - and out out of the money - the Wild Ducks quietly snuck back into first place, a 5.8 point evening placing GM Collard's team 2.7 points in front of the mostly quiet Ice Hogs. Sliding in the wrong direction, the Misconducts did an about-face on Tuesday, a much-needed 13.4 pointer drawing the fifth place team to within 39.2 points of first place and now, just 9.4 points shy of third place and it's $175.00 prize.

The Skirmish for the Laughing Bag
With nothing to play for after being eliminated from playoff contention, GM Murphy shifted his Silicon Valley Team into neutral. Ironically, the coasting Slashers now have something to play for. With only 2.0 points to show for the week, the Slashers are just 31.5 points removed from the FHL basement. All told, the race for the Laughing Bag is now a three-team affair.

Round One, H2H Playoffs

Wild Ducks: 7.8
Bluliners: 13.0

GM Collard was smiling when he learned his team had recaptured first place. The smile quickly left Collard's face when the Bluliners posted their Tuesday score, a 13.0 point evening providing the underdog seventh seed with a 5.2 point lead.

Central Red Army: 23.6
SC Cobras: 6.3

GM Murphy recently called the Brent Burns hotline, pleading with the FHL's best player to provide his team with points. To date, the bearded one has failed to show his face, the SC Cobras now trailing the Central Red Army by 17.3 points.

Ice Hogs: 16.0
Ice Cats: 11.4

Tuesday's news was all bad for the Ice Hogs - not only were they escorted to second place, a paltry 2.0 point effort has allowed the Ice Cats back into this match, GM Cutshall's always dangerous team now trailing by just 4.6 points.
