PostSubject: WEEK 20 (FINAL)   Mon Mar 06, 2017 11:20 am

With 29 goals and 38 assists in 57 games, Evgeni Malkin has been GM Collard's good buddy for most of the year, the 30-year-old center netting another 3.0 points (1g, 1a) on Sunday, his on-fire Wild Ducks team now just 10.4 points behind the front-running Ice Hogs.

Wild Ducks: 60.7
Ice Cats: 54.0

Mission accomplished. The Wild Ducks rallied over the final three days of the week to stun the Ice Cats, GM Collard's squad improving to 14-6. The big picture is even brighter, the Wild Ducks streaking toward what would be their 8th FHL championship. The Ice Cats meanwhile slid closer to the playoff exit. Seemingly a shoo-in for post-season play, the Ice Cats and their 11-9 mark are just one game better than both Badger Bob and the Bluliners with two weeks remaining in the H2H regular season.

Badger Bob: 55.4
Ice Hogs: 33.1

The Ice Hogs struggled mightily in Week 20, the first place team conceding 27.6 points to the fast-charging Wild Ducks. Badger Bob feasted on the Hog troubles, GM Chester's squad earning a much-need victory. Despite the win, the Bobs remain on the outside of the H2H playoffs, still trailing the Bluliners by a tiebreaker. Other doors to the playoffs opened however, the Bobs now one game behind the faltering Ice Cats and just 0.5 games behind the fading SC Cobras.

Central Red Army: 47.2
Between the Pipes: 34.0

It was a tough week for the Central Red Army as GM Buker was forced to watch Justin Schultz gobble up points while seated on IR. In the end, the Army persevered, a solid 47.2 point effort resulting in yet another win. Overall, the CRA remains in 3rd place, now 28.3 points back. Between the Pipes slipped to 6-14 in defeat. Once close to ground level, the lights have dimmed a bit, the cellar-dwelling franchise now 32.3 points from 11th place.

Bluliners: 44.2
SC Cobras: 25.5

Much to the delight of GM Hamilton, the SC Cobras were the league's worst Week 20 team, the Bluliners cruising to a very important win; still holders of the 7th and final ticket to the H2H playoffs. The Original Six franchise also remains in the hunt for the elusive FHL Cup, trailing the Ice Hogs by 29.7 points. The slumping SC Cobras are suddenly in danger of missing the playoffs, GM Murphy's misbehaving team close to being removed from the post-season pool.

Misconducts: 34.1
Polar Bears: 31.0

The Misconducts were ripe for the picking but the Polar Bears apparently weren't in a picking mood, GM Smalley's team escaping with another win. The Misconducts Cup chances have taken a huge hit in recent days, the once leading-the-league franchise now stuck in 5th place overall, 39.6 points back. At 5-15, the Polar Bears now have the league's worst H2H record (tied with the Boulder Flyers) the defending champion eagerly awaiting Sunday, April 9th; the end of the NHL season.

Boulder Flyers: 42.5
Silicon Valley Slashers: 34.6

For no particular reason the Boulder Flyers are playing well, the season-bad franchise winning back-to-back games for the first time. Despite the win, the Flyers remain at the bottom of the H2H barrel, their record still abysmal at 5-15. The Silicon Valley Slashers could soon be seated in the H2H basement, GM Murphy's team slumping to 6-14. The overall picture is just as dim, the second year franchise still lodged in the dreary confines of 10th place.

Polar Bears v. Boulder Flyers
SC Cobras v. Ice Hogs
Wild Ducks v. Misconducts
Central Red Army v. Silicon Valley Slashers
Ice Cats v. Badger Bob
Bluliners v. Between the Pipes
