PostSubject: WEEK 19 (thru Tuesday)   Wed Feb 22, 2017 2:15 am

It's beginning to look more and more like the year of the Ice Hog, the stoic and battle-hardened team pillaging Tuesday for 27.0 points, a William Wallace-like Jonathan Toews leading the charge with a career-best 15.0 points (3g, 2a); the unflappable Hogs now 38.8 points better than the rest.

Ice Hogs: 27.0
Between the Pipes: 3.0

The Fat Lady was preemptively summoned on Tuesday but she was busy dining on pizza-pizza-pizza. The rotund one however will soon be attending this H2H mismatch, the out of control Ice Hogs already leading the tail-Between the Pipes by 24.0 points.

Misconducts: 4.3
Badger Bob: 10.7

The Misconducts had absolutely no response to the Ice Hogs Tuesday outburst, a paltry 3.3 effort leaving nothing more than a smudge on GM Henry's thickening armor. Badger Bob took advantage of the misfiring Misconducts, the highly motivated squad potting 10.7 points, the Bobs now 6.4 points better than their heavily favored opponent.

Bluliners: 17.9
Wild Ducks: 16.3

Both the Bluliners and Wild Ducks were good on Tuesday but their numbers paled in comparison to the shitload of points compiled by the Ice Hogs; both teams shoved backwards in the once competitive overall standings. Nestled just inside the frame of the playoff picture, the Bluliners are happy to be in front of the Ducks, leading GM Collard's squad by 1.6 points.

Ice Cats: 19.4
Silicon Valley Slashers: 10.9

With their Captain making no roster moves in over three weeks, the Ice Cats appear to be a rudderless ship floating on the high seas of the FHL. Remarkably, the wayward vessel is somehow floating in the right direction, a 19.4 point Tuesday placing the Cats 8.5 knots in front of the Silicon Valley Slashers.

SC Cobras: 5.0
Boulder Flyers: 14.7
FHL official: "Congratulations on receiving bonus points on Tuesday."  GM Morgan: "Bonus points? What's a bonus point?" Such was the scene on Tuesday evening as the point-deprived Boulder Flyers were the recipient of a Filip Forsberg hat trick, the finally fortunate Flyers now 9.7 points better than a chin-scratching GM Murphy and his SC Cobras.

Polar Bears: 11.0
Central Red Army: 11.6
The closest match of the week finds the Central Red Army a mere 0.6 points in front of the Polar Bears, the 6th place Army hoping to place a lock on a post-season appearance; the 8th place Polar Bears playing for the love of the game and possibly a season-ending pat on the back.
