WEEK 18 (FINAL) SdSLF6t
The head-scratchingly resilient Ice Hogs padded their overall lead on Sunday - en route to winning their 11th match of the season - defender Zach Werenski (1g, 2a) pounding home 9.0 of his team's 17.7 points, the Hogs now 16.1 points clear of the 2nd place Misconducts.

Ice Hogs: 62.1
Polar Bears: 54.6

The Polar Bears put up a fight but in the end couldn't keep pace with the best team in the league, the Ice Hogs improving to 11-6-1; the Bears stumbling even farther out of the playoffs, their record now 5-13.  The best score of the week also providing the Hogs with a double-digit advantage in the chase for the FHL Cup. The Polar Bears closed the week a couple of notches higher, the defending champion now lodged in 8th place.

Misconducts: 35.2
SC Cobras: 34.6

The Misconducts weren't especially good but they were good enough to beat the SC Cobras, GM Smalley's team still looking at a first round playoff bye, their record tops in the league at 15-3. The overall forecast isn't as sunny however, the suddenly struggling two-time champion now sliding in the wrong direction. In defeat, the SC Cobras slipped to 10-7-1, GM Murphy's grip on a playoff spot still relatively firm.

Bluliners: 55.6
Silicon Valley Slashers: 26.3

The Bluliners were shoved back on Sunday but they remain in the money, GM Hamilton's 3rd place team now 33.2 points in back of the 1st place Ice Hogs. By silencing the Silicon Valley Slashers the Bluliners also kept themselves in post-season play, the team's 9-9 record good enough for the seventh and final playoff spot. The Slashers rallied in the final days but their slow start was too much to overcome, GM Murphy tumbling out of playoff contention, the team now 6-12.

Wild Ducks: 38.2
Boulder Flyers: 37.5

Another week, another loss for the often bad and sometimes unlucky Boulder Flyers, their record now 3-15. The Flyers also slipped closer to the basement on Sunday, GM Morgan's team just 19 steps from the dank FHL cellar. The Wild Ducks improved to 12-6 with the comeback win, still tops in the Grimson division. The overall news wasn't as good, the Ducks pushed into 4th place and out of the money, trailing 3rd place by 3.5 points; 1st place by 36.7.

Badger Bob: 37.2
Central Red Army: 33.3

Badger Bob stumbled on Sunday but crawled to finish line just ahead of the Central Red Army, GM Chester's team keeping their playoff hopes alive, still a tiebreaker shy of post-season play with four weeks remaining in the regular H2H season. The Army are now 11-7, four games behind the Domi division leading Misconducts. The Cup-chase standings find GM Buker's squadron in 5th place, just 10.3 points shy of 3rd place and it's season-ending $100.00 prize.

Ice Cats: 37.6
Between the Pipes: 28.8

The Ice Cats tightened their hold on the 6th playoff spot, improving to 10-8 by defeating Between the Pipes. While qualifying for the playoffs appears to a lock, the Cats continue to wallow in 6th place in the overall standings, the veteran franchise now 80.7 points back; 47.5 points south of the money. Between the Pipes slumped to 6-12, their playoff hopes no more. Seeing daylight remains a very real possibility, the last place Pipes again with a bead on the 11th place Boulder Flyers.

WEEK 19
SC Cobras v. Boulder Flyers
Wild Ducks v. Bluliners
Between the Pipes v. Ice Hogs
Silicon Valley Slashers v. Ice Cats
Polar Bears v. Central Red Army
Misconducts v. Badger Bob
