There weren't many players smiling during the bus ride to Week 17, Dustin Byfuglien and his Silicon Valley Slashers team losing to Between the Pipes by 1.5 points; the deflated Slashers now in real danger of missing the playoffs.Between the Pipes: 74.8
Silicon Valley Slashers: 73.3A long shot to make the playoffs, Between the Pipes are playing the role of spoiler, narrowly defeating the Silicon Valley Slashers. With the win, the Pipes improved to 5-11 for the season. The Slashers slumped to 6-10 and currently sit two games behind the seventh and final playoff spot.
Ice Hogs: 74.6
Bluliners: 62.0The first place Ice Hogs unleashed a league-best 11.4 points on Sunday and now lead the second place Misconducts by 7.7 points; their H2H record still the best of the Probert division at 10-5-1. The Bluliners meanwhile have slipped out of post-season play, their 7-9 record placing them one game behind the team holding the seventh playoff ticket.
Ice Cats: 95.7
Central Red Army: 93.3
The Central Red Army were the unlucky loser of Week 16, the second best score handing GM Buker nothing more than a painful loss, the Army slipping to 10-6. The victory was huge for the Ice Cats as they are now playoff worthy, their 8-8 record the seventh best among the twelve FHL teams.
Misconducts: 75.5
Boulder Flyers: 62.0The Misconducts continue to lead the H2H pack, GM Smalley's team now 13-3 after defeating the Boulder Flyers; a record that would provide GM Smalley with a first round playoff bye if the playoffs were to start today. After challenging the Misconducts during the week, the Boulder Flyers faded badly, their H2H mark still the worst of the bunch at 3-13.
Badger Bob: 79.7
Wild Ducks: 69.4Badger Bob fortified their chances for post-season play, upsetting the Wild Ducks to improve to 8-8. By defeating the division leader, the Bobs are now only two games back in their pursuit of the Grimson division title. GM Collard's team stumbled to 10-6, still comfortably in the playoffs with six weeks remaining in the H2H regular season.
SC Cobras: 77.5
Polar Bears: 72.7The SC Cobras continue to play well, their record now 10-5-1 after brushing aside the Polar Bears. The snakes still trail the Misconducts by 2.5 games in the stacked Domi division. The Polar Bears meanwhile have joined the Boulder Flyers on the post-season sidelines, virtually eliminated from the playoffs with an unworthy mark of 5-11.
