PostSubject: WEEK 13 (thru Wednesday)   Thu Jan 05, 2017 12:48 pm

Jamie Benn was the latest Between the Pipes player to be stricken with injury, GM Miller's team riddled with bad luck the entire season. Week 13 is proving no different. Short-staffed again, points have been hard to come by again, the Pipes now 45.5 steps from ground level (11th place).

SC Cobras: 9.9
Between the Pipes: 2.0

The Pipes have only unearthed 2.0 points the entire week but they remain in the hunt for a crucial H2H win, trailing the also struggling SC Cobras by only 7.9 points.

Silicon Valley Slashers: 20.6
Badger Bob: 10.2

Lead by the play of Shea Weber (2a), the Silicon Valley Slashers were the best Wednesday team, GM Murphy's now-in-seventh-place squad leading the dormant Bobs by 10.4 points.

Wild Ducks: 23.1
Polar Bears: 18.7

The "best team of the week" designation so far belongs to the Wild Ducks, GM Collard's 3rd place squad now 4.4 points better than the hanging-in-there Polar Bears.

Bluliners: 17.2
Misconducts: 17.0

Hoping to reverse the recent trend of falling backwards, the Misconducts inched forward on Wednesday, GM Smalley's team gaining 3.0 points on the 1st place Ice Hogs; 5.0 points on the Bluliners, their Week 13 opponent.

Ice Hogs: 17.6
Ice Cats: 20.6

The Ice Cats remain in "upset" mode, a 6.0 point outing providing GM Cutshall with a 3.0 point lead with four days remaining in the week.

Boulder Flyers: 15.3
Central Red Army: 20.0

The Boulder Flyers continue to trail but they remain hopeful after moving 3.1 rows closer on Wednesday, GM Morgan's birds now trailing the Central Red Army by a doable 4.7 points.
