Compromised by the ethanol that was consumed on Thanksgiving Day - a generous amount indeed - the FHL editorial staff had no choice but to take the day off.

Paul, I can understand fully.
It looks like B2 had the only points on the day, 3.1 from Montreal G Carey Price who made 31 saves in a 2-1 win over visiting Carolina.
Not only is this battle for NJ bragging rights, it also is owner Penguins fan (me) against owner Flyers fan (Tom).
Three days to go and the Central Red Army/Flyers lead by 6.8.

I was REALLY psyched that there were two NHL games on the schedule on Thanksgiving Day. The last couple of years, there had been no NHL games.
In that stretch, there were two memorable comeback wins for the Penguins at home over Toronto on the night before Thanksgiving. So that kinda was enough to sustain me through a Thanksgiving Day without the NHL. In one of those games, Evgeni Malkin won it with a shootout goal on Bernier.

So far today, B2 has picked up one assist from Minnesota C Eric Staal and two assists (and one bonus point) from Chicago D Brent Seabrook.
