PostSubject: WEEK 5 (thru Thursday)   Fri Nov 11, 2016 11:49 am

An afterthought during the draft, Eric Staal was selected by Badger Bob's GM Chester with the 22nd pick in the 8th and final round. The former star is back; exceeding all expectations with 5 goals and 6 assists in his first 12 games, including a one goal, two assist performance on Thursday.

Wild Ducks: 27.0
Badger Bob: 26.9

With both 3-1 teams vying for the Grimson division lead, a 13.3 point Thursday has drawn Badger Bob to within an eyelash of the Wild Ducks, the now-in-third-place team trailing GM Collard's 2nd place squad by 0.1.

Ice Cats: 23.9
Central Red Army: 21.2

Johnny Gaudreau found the back of the net twice, carrying his Ice Cats team to a 10.0 point Thursday. The Central Red Army were good for only 6.9, GM Buker's team now trailing this H2H affair by 2.7 points.

Bluliners: 19.7
Ice Hogs: 29.5

Points were once again aplenty for GM Henry, his Ice Hogs team carding 10.0 Thursday points, the Hogs lead over the Bluliners now close to 10.0 points.

SC Cobras: 29.9
Polar Bears: 14.6

The SC Cobras increased their lead over the limping Polar Bears, GM Murphy's squad now 15.3 points better with three days remaining in the week.

Between the Pipes: 22.3
Silicon Valley Slashers: 19.1

Jamie Benn (2g) finally found his skates, his Between the Pipes team departing Thursday with 6.3 points. The Silicon Valley Slashers countered with 7.0 points of their own, their H2H deficit still manageable at 3.2 points.

Misconducts: 12.0
Boulder Flyers: 16.1

Neither team apparently wants to win this bantamweight bout, the miserable Misconducts trailing the faltering Flyers by 4.1 points.
