PostSubject: WEEK 3 (thru Friday)   Sat Oct 29, 2016 12:00 pm

The first place Ice Hogs are receiving points from all four corners of their lineup. Dougie Hamilton was the latest Hog to carry the torch, the 23-year-old defenseman pillaging Friday for 12.0 points (2g, 1a).

Ice Hogs: 55.8
Central Red Army: 36.0

The third round of the draft was kind to GM Henry on Friday as Dougie Hamilton and Cam Talbot (26 save shutout) - both drafted in round No. 3 - combined for 17.2 points. All told the Ice Hogs departed the day with 20.2, their H2H lead over the Central Red Army now large at 19.8 points.

Between the Pipes: 9.2
Wild Ducks: 44.8

The Wild Ducks were also the beneficiary of a Friday shutout, Sergei Bobrovsky backstopping a 35 save, 7.0 point beauty. The Ducks netted 11.0 points in all, GM Collard's H2H cushion now 35.6 points thick. Between the Pipes punched out with 5.8 points, more than doubling their score, their weekly output still shy of double-digits.

Polar Bears: 24.1
Badger Bob: 39.6

A 3.0 point Friday dropped Badger Bob into 4th place in the overall standings, GM Chester's squad now trailing the Ice Hogs by 59.3. H2H-wise, the Bobs remain on course for their second win of the season, leading the 11th place Polar Bears by 15.5 points.

Misconducts: 44.7
Ice Cats: 37.3

The 2nd place Misconducts continue to be hounded by the 7th place Ice Cats. GM Smalley's squad netted 7.0 of Friday while the Ice Cats countered with 6.0 of their own. With two days still to be played in this non-divisional match, the Misconducts and their 1-1 record lead the 0-2 Ice Cats by 7.4.

SC Cobras: 22.3
Silicon Valley Slashers: 28.5

When Brent Burns bolted out of the 2016-17 blocks, the SC Cobras were thinking "FHL Cup." Burns has since cooled and and so have the Cobras, a lackluster Friday leaving the snakes 68.5 points behind the best of the FHL. The Cobras are also having trouble getting a bead on the Silicon Valley Slashers as they now trail this H2H affair by 6.2 points.

Bluliners: 25.7
Boulder Flyers: 24.8

If the 0-2 Boulder Flyers are to win their first H2H match of the season, they'll have to rally past the GM Hamilton's squad, a near-nothing Friday dropping the birds 0.9 points behind the Bluliners. Overall the Boulder Flyers remain in 9th place - way back - while the Bluliners now sit on the 8th rung of the FHL ladder.
