Playing with a different team has not affected Shea Weber's game - he may even be better - the Wild Ducks defender collecting another 6.0 points (1g, 1a) on Wednesday. Drafted in the 2nd round, the 31-year-old has three goals and six assists in his first six games. Between the Pipes: 3.4
Wild Ducks: 25.5The Wild Ducks were the best Wednesday team, an 8.8 point effort drawing GM Collard's 3rd place team to within 43.9 points of first place. H2H-wise the Ducks continue to pound Between the Pipes, leading now by 22.1. The Pipes again struggled to locate points, unearthing just 1.0. It wasn't all bad news for the clogged Pipes however as the single point lifted GM Miller out of the FHL's murky basement.
Polar Bears: 13.0
Badger Bob: 17.1GM Elya may have left his wallet in the basement as he made a return trip to the cellar on Wednesday, a no-point showing dropping the Polar Bears back into last place. GM Chester felt kinda bad but not really, his Badger Bob team now skating with a 4.1 H2H lead.
Ice Hogs: 28.4
Central Red Army: 15.4The Ice Hogs H2H cushion was thicker after Wednesday, GM Henry's team now leading the Central Red Army by 13.0 points. The overall standings still have the Ice Hogs comfortably in front, leading the leader-wannabe's by 33.4 points. The undefeated Army meanwhile moved into 7th place overall, now 58.2 points back.
Misconducts: 28.6
Ice Cats: 21.9With the Central Red Army losing, a Misconducts victory could lift GM Smalley's team into a tie for first place in the Domi division. To date, the returns are positive, the Misconducts and their 1-1 record currently leading the the winless Ice Cats by 6.7.
SC Cobras: 9.9
Silicon Valley Slashers: 14.5Cruising in the early days of the season, the SC Cobra's rig is now parked on the side of the road - smoke billowing from under the hood. A 2.0 Wednesday dropped the 4th place Snakes 53.5 points behind the front-runner. The Cobras are also in danger of falling to 1-2, currently trailing the 10th place Silicon Valley Slashers by 4.6.
Bluliners: 14.4
Boulder Flyers: 16.8"There's nothing to see here folks, please move along." Truer words were never spoken as both the Boulder Flyers and Bluliners departed Wednesday carrying the same number of points they had when they arrived. In short, neither team registered a point. Sucked, would be another way to put it.
