WEEK 2 (thru Saturday) 81QbDyI
Flatlining on Friday, the Polar Bears have suddenly sprung back to life, Rick Nash (1g, 1a) helping guide his point-starved team to a league-best 16.0 point Saturday.

Wild Ducks: 40.3
Polar Bears: 38.7

The clouds parted on Saturday, the sun finally shining on GM Elya and his troubled team. While the outburst wasn't enough to escape the FHL basement, the Polar Bears are now just 7.9 steps from ground level. The Bears are also back in the H2H hunt, trailing the Wild Ducks by just 1.6 points.

Between the Pipes: 30.0
SC Cobras: 47.7

The SC Cobras fired mostly blanks on a very busy Saturday, GM Murphy's team uncovering just 1.5 points. Between the Pipes failed to take full advantage of the quiet snakes, GM Miller's team potting only 5.0, their H2H deficit still very large at 17.7 points.

Ice Hogs: 63.3
Ice Cats: 31.3

Gustav Nyquist was again one of the best Ice Hogs on the ice, netting 4.0 (2g) of his team's 10.0 points. The tally padded GM Henry's overall lead, his first place Ice Hogs team now 31.8 points better than the 2nd place SC Cobras. H2H-wise, the Ice Hogs will soon improve to 2-0, their lead over the Ice Cats an insurmountable 32.0 points.

Bluliners: 36.6
Misconducts: 44.7

Jakub Voracek (2g, 1a) lead his Misconducts team to the second best Saturday score, GM Smalley's squad departing the day with 14.6 points. Currently in 4th place in the overall standings, the Misconducts lead the 7th place Bluliners by 8.1 with one day remaining in the week.

Central Red Army: 36.6
Boulder Flyers: 40.4

The Boulder Flyer brass were beginning to think Shayne Gostisbehere was more dud-like than stud-like. The youngster eased GM Morgan's mind on Saturday, tweaking the twine for 9.0 points (1g, 2a). The collection of points has placed the Flyers back in front of the Central Red Army, their lead over GM Buker's squad a slim 3.8.

Silicon Valley Slashers: 35.9
Badger Bob: 41.8

Riding shotgun with Auston Matthews, William Nylander netted two goals on Saturday, his 4.0 point contribution leading Badger Bob to an 8.9 point evening. The Silicon Valley Slashers countered with a stiff 12.6 of their own, GM Murphy's squad closing to within 5.9 of what would be their second H2H win.
