PostSubject: WEEK 2 (thru Monday)   Tue Oct 18, 2016 2:21 pm

Netting his first career hat trick, defenseman Mike Green was money on Monday, the 31-year-old harvesting 15.0 points, his Ice Hogs team now 8.8 points better that the hard-charging SC Cobras.

Ice Hogs: 16.0
Ice Cats: 4.0

The in-form Ice Hogs are showing no signs of slowing down, another grand opener placing GM Henry's pigs a full 12.0 points in front of the Ice Cats. Despite Green's performance the Hogs overall advantage took a hit on Monday, the SC Cobras now just single digits behind the top spot.

SC Cobras: 23.4
Between the Pipes: 0.0

The SC Cobras are in 2nd place, banging on the Ice Hogs door. Brent Burns did the bulk of the Monday damage, the bearded Yeti bagging 12.0 points (2g, 1a). Tuukka Rask was also extraordinary, pocketing 9.4 points (34 save win, 2 assists). Between the Pipes meanwhile were held in check, GM Miller's team stumbling to 5th place in the overall standings.

Bluliners: 2.0
Misconducts: 17.1

Fueled by the performance of Joe Pavelski (1g, 3a) the Misconducts jumped from 10th place to 3rd place in the overall standings; 17.4 points behind the first place Hogs. H2H-wise GM Smalley's team is comfortably in front, leading the Bluliners by 15.1 points.

Wild Ducks: 2.0
Polar Bears: 6.0

The Polar Bears acquired Thomas Vanek and were quickly rewarded with a 4.0 point game (3a). The number however wasn't nearly enough to right the Bears listing ship, GM Elya's last place squad now 44.5 points back. H2H-speaking, this Grimson division match is favoring the Bears, their lead over the Wild Ducks currently 4.0 points.

Central Red Army: 0.0
Boulder Flyers: 2.0

Logan Couture deposited a 2.0 point goal annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd that was about it. The Boulder Flyers leading the Central Red Army by 2.0 points with six long days remaining in the week.

Silicon Valley Slashers: 2.0
Badger Bob: 3.0

A relatively light NHL night resulted in a light number of points being scored by both the Silicon Valley Slashers and Bader Bob, the 7th place Bobs leading GM Murphy's 11th place team by a single point.
