Or was this a FHL owner trying to "clear his head" after the draft? Just had to get away from it all after failing to get Gustav Nyquist?

Big Foot in Michigan

Maybe this Big Foot is a UPer? I didn't read the article to see where in the state the photo is from.

PostSubject: Big Foot in Michigan addendum...   Sat Oct 08, 2016 12:25 pm

I now have read article. Beulah, Michigan. UP or lower?

And this tidbit in the article:

The 50th anniversary of the controversial Patterson-Gimli film that shows exclusive footage of what appears to be Bigfoot is approaching, USA Today noted.

The last place he was reportedly spotted was in woods near Caerphilly Mountain in Wales last month, according to Daily Mail.

Paul, I don't like the name of that city or town since it has "philly" in the name. How far is it from Chester City?

Might have been Brent Burns. Smile

Never heard of Beulah, Michigan. A Google search says the town is near Traverse City (top of ring finger).

I know Caerphilly mountain, it's about 20 miles from my place of birth (Blaina) and 150 miles south of Chester.

Probably was Bigfoot. Don't think Brent Burns has ever been to Wales.

Amen on Brent Burns looking like Bigfoot, especially when he has the playoff beard going.

I still am trying to figure out how Burns, who was a marginal player with Minnesota, has blossomed into the force he is.

I don't recall another emergence into a superstar like this in the NHL. Maybe Doug Gilmour? As you know, I know my NHL history.
