WEEK 24 (thru Sunday)

Having done most of the heavy lifting in the early days of the season, Patrick Kane answered GM Elya's call for some last week help, the Polar Bears forward ripping 13.0 points (3g, 1a) on Sunday.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
After fumbling a 40 point lead, many thought the Polar Bears had blown their best chance to win the coveted FHL Cup. The critics were silenced on the weekend as the Polar Bears unleashed a league-best 26.5 points. There is still plenty of work to do, but today GM Elya is breathing a little easier, his team now 19.6 points better than the 2nd place Bluliners.

The Battle for 2nd Place (Overall)
With winning the FHL Cup no longer a possibility - trailing the Polar Bears by 48.9 points - the Misconducts have set their sights on the 2nd place Bluliners and the $250.00 cash prize. A 14.8 weekend did little to help their chances as the Bluliners posted a similar number, the Misconducts now 29.3 points in rear of GM Hamilton's still-focused-on-the-FHL-Cup team.

The Battle for 3rd Place (Overall)
The SC Cobras were better than both the Bluliners and Misconducts on the weekend, potting 17.0 points. If GM Murphy is to reel-in the Misconducts however, his team will have to do better, still trailing the $130.00 position by 20.7 points.

The Battle for 2nd Place (H2H)
A Badger Bob victory will gift GM Chester $30.00 for finishing second in the H2H division. The first year GM might have to share that prize if he can't overcome the Polar Bears, the Bobs currently trailing GM Elya's team by 12.7 points. All with a shot at 2nd place H2H cash, the Bluliners, Between the Pipes and Misconducts are hoping for a Badger Bob loss.

The Battle for the Laughing Bag
The Laughing Bag is a booby prize - a prize awarded to the team that finishes dead last. The Redliners were in last place when their ownership was transferred to the Central Red Army. Since it wouldn't be fair to present the "trophy" to GM Buker and his Central Red Army - a team that has played well under it's new owner - the Laughing Bag won't be awarded this year.
