Leading by over 40.0 points two weeks ago, GM Elya now has a fight war on his hands, GM Hamilton's relentless Bluliners now trailing the first place Polar Bears by just 7.4 points.

Uncovering points doesn't appear to be a problem for GM Hamilton, his Bluliners hoarding another 11.9 on Wednesday. With the end of the season on the horizon, Mark Giordano (1g, 1a) and company now trail the sagging Polar Bears by "one decent night" - their 5th FHL Cup championship clearly in sight.

It was a quiet NHL night but GM Elya was hoping for "something" from Erik Karlsson. The defender disappointed, a nothing-evening leaving the Bears brass with a single point. Even though their cushion has deflated, the Bears remain in the drivers's seat, still the best of the FHL with 10 days remaining in the season.

Wild Ducks: 37.1
With the focus on the Polar Bears and Bluliners, the Misconducts have quietly scooted to within "striking distance," GM Smalley's 3rd place team now just 31.4 points behind the 1st place Bears. H2H-wise, this beaut is going down to the wire, less than a point separating the two teams.

Boulder Flyers: 27.6
SC Cobras: 28.8
The SC Cobras continue to lead this also-close H2H battle, GM Murphy's team up by 1.2 points. The hunt for the money got a bit more difficult, the snakes losing ground, now 28.9 points behind the 3rd place Misconducts.

Badger Bob: 53.6
Ice Cats: 26.5
The Ice Cats strolled a bit closer to Badger Bob on Wednesday but GM Cutshall's deficit remains enormous, trailing by close to 30.0 points with only two days left to be played.

Ice Hogs: 32.3
Between the Pipes: 32.0
With time a-wasting, Between the Pipes finally made their move, the must-win Pipes now just 0.3 points in back of GM Henry's Ice Hogs.
