PostSubject: WEEK 16 (thru Thursday)   Fri Feb 05, 2016 1:08 pm

Not particularly happy about being shoved out of first place, the Polar Bears upped their game, GM Elya’s team returning to the top of the FHL charts on Thursday; Shea Weber leading the charge with a 5.0 point (1g, 1a) game.

SC Cobras: 25.6
Polar Bears: 29.0

What a difference a day makes. The Polar Bears are once again the best of the FHL, a huge 18.6 Thursday providing GM Elya with a 9.2 lead over the second place SC Cobras. The Bears are also better than the Cobras in this H2H duel, leading GM Murphy's squad by 3.4 with eight days remaining in the long post All-Star break week.

Boulder Flyers: 27.3
Ice Cats: 37.5

The Ice Cats exploded for 27.6 points on Day 3 of the 11 day week, GM Cutshall's Cats racing into 5th place overall, just 44.7 points behind the first place Polar Bears. The white-hot Cats also raced past the Boulder Flyers, now leading GM Morgan's dumbstruck birds by a fat 10.2.

Bluliners: 25.7
Ice Hogs: 44.7

The Ice Hogs increased their H2H lead over the Bluliners, harvesting 12.6 points on Thursday. The Bluliners collected 7.7 points; not nearly enough to keep pace with the Polar Bears and SC Cobras, GM Hamilton's was-in-first-place team now sitting on the third rung of the FHL ladder.

Between the Pipes: 28.6
Silicon Valley Slashers: 10.6

With the lowest score of the week, the Silicon Valley Slashers have slipped to 6th place in the overall standings; a now worrisome 47.8 behind the league leader. Conversely, Between the Pipes rediscovered the scoresheet in a big way, a wide 18.6 night placing the Pipes in 7th place overall and 18.0 points in front of their sagging H2H opponent.

Badger Bob: 20.4
Misconducts: 23.8

Both the Misconducts and Badger Bob deposited 12.0 points into their Thursday account, GM Smalley maintaining his 3.4 lead over GM Chester's Bobs. Overall-wise, the 4th place Misconducts have fallen 21.6 points behind the first place Bears while Badger Bob, in 8th place, sit 62.4 points back.

Central Red Army: 23.1
Wild Ducks: 27.2

The Wild Ducks were one of the best Thursday teams, a 14.6 showing helping GM Collard catch and pass the Central Red Army. The Army bagged 7.0 points on Thursday, the stairs leading out of the basement (11th place) now 29.2 points away.
