PostSubject: WEEK 13 (thru Saturday)   Sun Jan 10, 2016 4:52 pm

Called into action when Jake Allen was felled by injury, Bluliner Steve Mason responded in a big way, backstopping a 20 save, 4.0 point shutout on Saturday.

Bluliners: 15.4
Wild Ducks: 6.2

Jake Allen and Devan Dubnyk (34 save win) combined for 7.4 points on Saturday, leading their team to a league-best 15.4 outing. The performance has placed the 5th place Bluliners 9.2 points in front of the 11th place Wild Ducks, GM Hamilton's team now just 35.4 behind the first place Polar Bears.

Misconducts: 8.3
SC Cobras: 8.0

The Belle Tire "Match of the Week" finds the Misconducts leading the SC Cobras by 0.3. While a H2H win is important, both GM's are focused on the first place Polar Bears; the 2nd place Misconducts now just 10.9 behind the league leader; the 3rd place Cobras trailing by just 18.3

Polar Bears: 6.9
Silicon Valley Slashers: 5.0

With the heat now at uncomfortable levels, the sweating Polar Bears trudge on, a 6.9 Saturday failing to push back the top two contenders. H2H-wise the Bears are in front, leading the 4th place Silicon Valley Slashers by 1.9.

Ice Cats: 3.3
Redliners: 7.0

A league-low 3.3 Saturday has dropped the Ice Cats into 8th place. Despite being buried in the overall standings, the Ice Cats remain in the Cup chase, trailing the front running Bears by just 53.8 points. The Redliners continue to languish in last place, their Saturday showing leaving them 4.9 points shy of daylight (11th place).

Badger Bob: 6.8
Between the Pipes: 9.9

The up-and-down Between the Pipes were up on Saturday, a 9.9 outing dropping the first year franchise into 6th place, 49.3 behind the first place Polar Bears. The 7-5 Pipes are also leading Badger Bob and their second best 8-4 H2H record, GM Millers squad 3.1 points in front.

Ice Hogs: 6.0
Boulder Flyers: 4.0

The 9th and 10th place teams continue to play with Nerf sticks and Nerf pucks, GM Henry's gasping Ice Hogs currently 2.0 points better than GM Morgan's wheezing Boulder Flyers.
