Week 11 was not a good time to mess with the Ice Cats, GM Cutshall's resilient squad posting the league's best score, drawing to within 65.7 of first place and 14.0 points of a season-ending payday (3rd place).Ice Cats: 69.5
Badger Bob: 41.3Badger Bob were mauled by the snarling Ice Cats, losing by 28.2. As a result the Ice Cats improved to 7-4, a record that has placed the veteran franchise in second place in the H2H standings. The Bobs are also 7-4 on the season, tied with the Cats and Between the Pipes; all three teams trailing the first place Polar Bears by two games. Overall, Badger Bob are still better than the Cats, GM Chester's squad departing the week in 4th place.
Between the Pipes: 61.2
Ice Hogs: 46.6Between the Pipes recorded the second best score of the week; a number that didn't sit well with the Ice Hogs, the defending H2H champion falling under .500 for the first time since the Regan Administration. The Pipes are now 7-4, just a stones throw from the H2H leader. Overall-wise, Between the Pipes are still within FHL Cup range, trailing by 61.4. The Hogs are lodged in 10th place, 119.4 back.
Polar Bears: 58.3
Redliners: 28.6For the first time this season the H2H standings features a first place team leading by more than a single game. The Polar Bears wrecked the Redliners, more than doubling the score posted by GM Megan's fading franchise. The Bears are now 9-2, a record that has provided GM Elya with a two game lead. The overall picture is also a Rembrandt, the first place Bears now 38.7 points better than the closest contender. Meanwhile, the Redliners are teetering on the edge of the basement, presently just a goal better than the last place Ducks.
Bluliners: 60.1
Silicon Valley Slashers: 47.2The Bluiners caught and passed the Silicon Valley Slashers in the fading days of the week, GM Hamilton's persistent squad handing the Slashers their seventh loss of the season. By acquiring more points than the Polar Bears, the sixth place Bluliners closed the gap somewhat, now trailing by 57.6. Despite the loss, the second place Slashers are still nipping at the heels of the first place Polar Bears (if the Bears have really long heels), GM Murphy's deficit now 38.7.
Wild Ducks: 48.5
Misconducts: 37.6The heavily-favored Misconducts picked a bad week to be bad, their Week 11 output not nearly enough to take down the last place Wild Ducks. While the Misconduct Board of Trustees is not yet asking for the head of GM Smalley, the squad has some splainin' to do, stumbling to 6-5 with the hard-to-swallow loss; their stock in the overall standings degraded to fifth place. The Wild Ducks improved to 3-8 with the rare victory. Overall-wise, the Ducks are still sitting in the basement but trail sunshine by a mere 1.3.
Boulder Flyers: 44.2
SC Cobras: 40.8First the good news: The SC Cobras are in third place overall, the once-in-last-place team just 51.7 points shy of the first place Polar Bears. The bad news: GM Murphy's squad couldn't take out the wheezing Boulder Flyers, the Cobras stumbling under .500 in defeat. The Boulder Flyers improved to 5-6 with the unexpected win, GM Morgan's ninth place team still a long way from repeating as FHL Cup champion, their hole currently 110.2 points deep.
