WEEK 9 (FINAL) Sbhe5Sn
Leon Draisaitl did all he could, collecting four assists, but his Wild Ducks team would fall 2.3 short of the Silicon Valley Slashers in the Belle Tire "Match of the Week," GM Collard's 2-7 squad now the sole owner of last place in the H2H standings.

Silicon Valley Slashers: 43.6
Wild Ducks: 41.4

A Henrik Lundqvist assist (3.0 points) would prove to be the difference as the Silicon Valley Slashers survived the Friday assault of the Wild Ducks, GM Murphy's team improving to 3-6. The 10.0 point evening also brought the Slashers closer to first place, now trailing the Polar Bears by 25.2. Despite losing, the Ducks can take solace in their league-best 14.7 Friday, crawling under the century mark in the process, now 91.2 behind the top spot.

Boulder Flyers: 66.3
Between the Pipes: 35.8

The Boulder Flyers posted the best score of the week, leveling Between the Pipes. With the win the Flyers improved to 4-5, three games behind the H2H-leading Polar Bears. Overall, the Flyers slipped a notch and now reside in Suite No. 9. Between the Pipes are now 5-4 on the season, two games behind the division leader. Overall, the situation is nearing critical for the Pipes as they sit in 10th place, 87.7 shy of first place.

Badger Bob: 56.5
Ice Hogs: 48.6

Badger Bob are still H2H-title relevant as they defeated the Ice Hogs to improve to 6-3. With the win the Bobs kept pace with the division leading Bears, GM Chester's team remaining one game back. Overall, Badger Bob are in 4th place, their hole not quite as deep at 42.6. The defending H2H champion slipped to 5-4, GM Henry's Ice Hogs now two games back. The overall picture remains bleak, the Hogs still trapped in the FHL basement, 103.4 points back.

Misconducts: 55.5
Bluliners: 27.2

The Misconducts enjoyed a 12.9 Friday, a large scoop of icing on their Week 9 cake. GM Smalley's team is now 6-3, just one game back in the H2H title chase. Overall, the 3rd place Misconducts moved closer to the 1st place Bears, now 34.4 points back. The Bluliners were the worst team of the week, their record now 3-6. In the Cup-chase standings the Bluliners dropped into 6th place, 79.2 behind the leader; 44.8 behind the money (3rd place).

Polar Bears: 52.4
Ice Cats: 27.8

The Polar Bears only uncorked 2.0 points on Friday but the damage done during the week was simply too great, GM Elya's squad razing the outgunned Ice Cats. The victory kept the Bears atop the H2H standings, their record now 7-2. Overall, the Bears are still sitting pretty, their lead a nervously comfortable 27.2. The loss hurt the Ice Cats H2H title chances, their record nearing mediocrity at 5-4. Overall, the Cats closed the week in 8th place.

SC Cobras: 61.6
Redliners: 44.2

It was a good week to be a Cobra fan as the second best score helped them commandeer 5th place in the overall standings, their H2H record now 4-5. With 15 long weeks remaining in the season, the first year franchise find themselves 74.1 behind the FHL Cup and just 39.7 short of a season-ending payday. The Redliners slipped under .500 in defeat, their record now 4-5. Overall, the Reds are in the red, nestled in 7th place, 82.7 points back.
