WEEK 9 (thru Tuesday) G2Wbesf
The Silicon Valley Slashers have climbed to within 33.7 of the first place Polar Bears, Jamie Benn leading the charge with three assists and his league-leading 19th goal of the season.

Wild Ducks: 17.1
Silicon Valley Slashers: 22.1

In recovery mode after getting shoved 42.0 points behind the Polar Bears on Saturday, the Slashers continue to reduce their deficit, thanks in part to a 7.0 Tuesday; all points courtesy of Jamie Benn. The Slashers also continue to lead their H2H match - a battle to escape last place in the H2H standings - GM Murphy's 2-6 team now 5.0 points better than the also 2-6 Wild Ducks.

Redliners: 30.7
SC Cobras: 46.6

The Cobras are now the best team of the week, a solid 9.6 outing lifting GM Murphy's surging squad to within 76.1 of first place. The Redliners were also good on Tuesday, carding 13.0, their H2H hole not quite so deep at 15.9. In the all-important overall standings, the Redliners climbed a notch and now sit in slot No. 7.

Badger Bob: 39.5
Ice Hogs: 31.9

Badger Bob increased their lead over the Ice Hogs, GM Chester's 5-3 team now 7.6 better than the also 5-3 Hogs. In the overall standings, the Bobs have moved a few rows closer to the top spot, now just 46.6 behind the league leading Bears. The Ice Hogs were escorted to the FHL basement once again, the last place squad currently 1.9 behind the 11th place Boulder Flyers.

Polar Bears: 39.4
Ice Cats: 16.8

The Polar Bears uncovered just 2.0 points on Tuesday, GM Elya's team still relatively cold after a red-hot opener. While the eleven other teams have gained ground in the overall standings, the Bears remain well in control of their Week 9 H2H match, the lounging Ice Cats, 5-3, still trailing the first place Bears, 6-2, by 22.6 points.

Bluliners: 10.2
Misconducts: 27.2

Justin Faulk deposited another two goals (9.0 points), the sharp-shooting defenseman guiding his Misconducts team to a 13.0 point Tuesday. The number places the Misconducts, 5-3, just 49.7 behind the top spot in the overall standings. The Bluliners, 3-5, coughed-up 5.2 points on day four of the seven day week, their "thru Tuesday" tally still the worst among the twelve FHL teams.

Between the Pipes: 20.8
Boulder Flyers: 34.1

John Klingberg and Mark Stone both had three-assist evenings, the Boulder Flyers recording enough points to once again depart the FHL cellar. In their H2H match the 3-5 Flyers are still better than the 5-3 Between the Pipes, GM Morgan's advantage now 13.3 with three days remaining in the week.
