WEEK 8 (thru Saturday) YmiX7em
The Silicon Valley Slashers are once again the best team in the FHL, a 12.0 point Saturday providing GM Murphy with a 4.2 point lead over the now-in-second-place Polar Bears.

Silicon Valley Slashers: 12.0
Redliners: 9.5

Once again fueled by the play of Jamie Benn (1g, 1a), the Silicon Valley Slashers have commandeered the top spot in the overall standings. In their H2H confrontation, the 2-5 Slashers also find themselves on top, leading the 3-4 Redliners by 2.5.

Polar Bears: 7.0
Wild Ducks: 11.2

As it pertains to the H2H standings, first meets worst, the 2-5 Wild Ducks locking Horns with the 5-2 Polar Bears. After one day the Upset Gods appear to have a horse in this race, GM Collard's Ducks currently 4.2 better than GM Elya's Bears.

SC Cobras: 10.5
Ice Cats: 15.2

Even with their best player once again dispatched to the shelf, the Ice Cats posted the second best Saturday score, GM Cutshall's squad currently 4.7 better than the SC Cobras. Overall, the 4-3 Ice Cats gained a few steps on the league leader, their deficit still large however at 53.9. The Cobras, 3-4, remain in eighth place, 67.6 back.

Misconducts: 3.4
Ice Hogs: 7.0

The Misconducts' fine-tuned machine hit a few Saturday bumps, GM Smalley's third place team posting the lowest Saturday score. As a result the Misconducts fell 29.2 out of first place in the overall standings and, H2H-wise, trail the again-in-last-place Ice Hogs by 3.6.

Badger Bob: 4.9
Boulder Flyers: 11.0

Badger Bob struggled on Saturday, GM Chester's squad and their 4.9 points tumbling into fifth place overall. Thanks in large part to John Klingberg (1g, 1a) the Boulder Flyers were good for 11.0, the Flyers escaping the basement for the umpteenth time, their H2H advantage 6.1 with six days remaining in the week.

Between the Pipes: 15.5
Bluliners: 11.3

Between the Pipes were the best team on Saturday, their Colorado connection submitting 9.0 points. Overall the Pipes remin in seventh place, now 59.6 back.  The Bluliners netted an "okay" 11.3, GM Hamilton's now-in-fourth-place team trailing their H2H rival by 4.2.
