WEEK 5 (thru Sunday) OzLEF1o
Artemi Panarin was one of the better players on Sunday, the Russian forward harnessing 5.0 points (2g, 1a) to lift his suddenly spry Boulder Flyers team into 10th place in the overall standings.

Boulder Flyers: 25.1
Wild Ducks: 8.0

The Boulder Flyers may not have taken flight but at least their wheels are off the ground, a 25.1 weekend drawing the Flyers to within 57.3 of first place. The bevy of points has also provided GM Morgan with a generous lead over their struggling H2H opponent, the Wild Ducks slumping to 11th place after a forgettable 8.0 weekend.

Bluliners: 28.2
Redliners: 9.0

The Bluliners were the best weekend team, a loud 28.2 explosion raising the veteran franchise into 4th place in the overall standings, now just 20.6 behind the first place Misconducts. Shell-shocked on Saturday, GM Megan's ears are still ringing, her misfiring Redliners team trailing her Week 5 H2H rival by 19.2.

Silicon Valley Slashers: 8.0
Badger Bob: 8.1

Aside from the option of "deadlocked," this Belle Tire "Match of the Week" couldn't be any closer, the expansion Bobs leading the expansion Slashers by 0.1. While the Slashers held their position over the weekend - currently 2nd place - Badger Bob were demoted to 5th place, now 23.6 rows from the head of the class.

Ice Cats: 10.3
Ice Hogs: 4.0

Without their main sail - Carey Price - the Ice Cats continue to drift, GM Cutshall's team falling to 6th place overall after a lukewarm 10.3 weekend. The Ice Hogs meanwhile were the worst Saturday/Sunday team, a 4.0 showing burying the Hogs even deeper in the FHL cellar. Once close to escaping the basement, GM Henry's faltering squad now trail the 11th place Wild Ducks by 12.3.

SC Cobras: 12.4
Between the Pipes: 12.0

The Cobra's and Pipes continue to spar, neither team able to land a haymaker over the weekend. Leading the Pipes by 0.4, the 8th place Cobras moved slightly closer to the first place Misconducts, now trailing the top spot by 45.2. Between the Pipes find themselves in a similar situation, GM Miller's 9th place team now 50.6 back.

Misconducts: 10.0
Polar Bears: 16.2

Lead by the play of Patrick Kane (1g, 3a) the Polar Bears harvested 11.0 points on Sunday, GM Elya's team now 6.2 better than their H2H opponent. In the overall standings the Misconducts still rule the roost, 3.4 clear of the closest competitor and 12.6 better than the upset-minded Polar Bears.
