PostSubject: WEEK 5 (thru Saturday)   Sun Nov 08, 2015 2:31 pm

GM Hamilton received a rare double helping of shutouts, Bluliners Devan Dubnyk (31 saves) and Jake Allen (45 saves) both pitching perfect games on Saturday.

Bluliners: 22.2
Redliners: 4.0

Backed by 15.2 points from the goaltending slot the Bluliners raced to an already dominant 18.2 lead over the shell-shocked Redliners. The outbust also served the Bluliners well in the overall standings, GM Hamilton's team jumping from 7th place to 5th place. The Redliners meanwhile took an overall standings hit, falling 35.5 behind the  first place Misconducts

Silicon Valley Slashers: 7.0
Badger Bob: 6.8

The Belle Tire "Match of the Week" is close after the opening frame, the second place Silicon Valley Slashers currently leading the 4th place Bobs by 0.2. With the Misconducts clocking 10.0 on Saturday, the Slashers slipped 4.4 back in the overall standings; Badger Bob now 24.9 behind.

Boulder Flyers: 11.5
Wild Ducks: 4.0

It took some doing but the Boulder Flyers have finally escaped the FHL basement. Plucked from the FHL trash heap, Linus Ullmark shone for the Boulder Flyers, the 22-year-old goaltender leading his Flyers team with a 35 save performance. The Wild Ducks meanwhile had trouble locating points, GM Collard's 10th place team now a distant 62.7 from the crest of the FHL.

Ice Cats: 4.3
Ice Hogs: 3.0

It's been nothing but bad news for the Ice Cats after team leader Corey Price went down, GM Cutshall's team tumbling to 6th place in the Cup-chase standings, 32.2 back. It's been nothing but bad news for the Ice Hogs since the season started, GM Henry's team carted back to the basement after a league-worst 3.0 Saturday.

SC Cobras: 8.0
Between the Pipes: 9.0

The numbers were nothing to get giddy about but both the Pipes and Cobras departed Saturday with a slight smile on their face, the Pipes number slightly better than their Week 5 H2H opponent. The overall picture remains relatively unchanged, Between the Pipes now 53.6 back and the Cobras, 49.6 shy of the top prize.

Misconducts: 10.0
Polar Bears: 5.2

The Misconducts continue to play well, GM Smalley's squad potting 10.0 on the opening day, 4.8 more than the third place Polar Bears. In search of their third FHL championship, the Misconducts currently lead the second place Slashers by 4.4. The Cup-hungry Bears fell 23.6 behind, still Cup-relevant in 3rd place.
