PostSubject: WEEK 3 (thru Monday)   Tue Oct 27, 2015 12:24 pm

GM Murphy was all smiles on Monday as Corey Crawford harvested a zamboni-load of points, the SC Cobras goaltender posting a 39 save shutout (7.8 points).

SC Cobras: 23.0
Silicon Valley Slashers: 15.9

Don't look now but the previously "in the red" Cobras are "in the black," an 8.8 Monday delivering the expansion franchise into 10th place overall. The Cobras are now 7.1 better than the Slashers; ironic as the Slashers - despite being arguably the best team in the FHL - are staring at an 0-3 start.

Polar Bears: 13.0
Badger Bob: 20.4

Jaroslav Halak was perfect again (29 save shutout), the Bobs now leading the Bears by 7.4. As they search for their second win of the season, Badger Bob now resides in second place, a mere 0.2 behind the first place Ice Cats. The Polar Bears meanwhile slipped into 4th place, a 2.0 Monday leaving them 5.5 back.

Ice Hogs: 10.6
Redliners: 11.3

Both the Ice Hogs and Redliners were held in check on day three of the seven day week. As a result "the score remains the same" (a B-side Led Zeppelin tune); the 7th place Redliners leading the last place Hogs by 0.7.

Bluliners: 20.4
Boulder Flyers: 5.6

Speaking of teams doing nothing, the Bluliners and Boulder Flyers walked away from Monday empty-handed, GM Hamilton's Bluliners, 0-2, leading the 1-1 Flyers by the same 14.8.

Ice Cats: 26.9
Wild Ducks: 8.4

The Ice Cats remain on top of the FHL pile, a 5.0 outing keeping all challengers at bay. GM Cutshall's Price-infused squad are now 18.5 in front of the waddling Ducks, GM Collard's squad still floundering in 9th place.

Between the Pipes: 13.2
Misconducts: 13.8

The Misconducts potted 2.0 on Monday and jumped ahead of Between the Pipes, GM Smalley's undefeated franchise now 0.6 better than the 1-1 Pipes.
