WEEK 1 (thru Thursday) XkoxeB0
John Carlson may not have been dear to GM Murphy prior to the draft but he's dear to the Silicon Valley Slasher GM now, the tenacious defender pocketing 5.0 (1g, 1a) to guide his team to within 9.5 of first place.

Silicon Valley Slashers: 56.8
Polar Bears: 65.4

The Slashers were the best team on Thursday, collecting 12.5. In addition to Carlson's heroics, Jamie Benn potted 3.0 as did Alexander Steen. With the Polar Bears firing blanks, the Slashers closed to within 8.6 of their H2H opponent with one game-filled day remaining in the week.

Boulder Flyers: 38.3
Ice Hogs: 30.2

With the week barreling down the homestretch the Boulder Flyers are clinging to an 8.1 lead. The Flyers had a lot of players on the ice but could only dig up 6.0 points. The Ice Hogs, still in last place, uncovered 4.4. Sidney Crosby was once again no help as the stumbling star continues to search for his first point of the season.

Between the Pipes: 66.3
Badger Bob: 56.2

Badger Bob inched closer to their H2H opponent but they might be running out of time, trailing by 10.1 with only one tick remaining on the week one clock. Despite losing a bit of their lead, GM Miller is all smiles as his Between the Pipes team passed the Polar Bears and currently sit on the top rung of the FHL ladder.

Bluliners: 48.9
Wild Ducks: 58.5

The Wild Ducks nickel and dimed their way to a 10.0 Thursday, their stay in the standings upgraded to 4th place. Mike Smith's armor was finally dinked but Paul Stastny (1g, 1a) and Evgeni Malkin (1g) picked up the slack. The Bluliners were the beneficiary of 5.0 points from Steven Stamkos (2g, 1a) but couldn't close the gap on the Ducks, GM Hamilton's deficit now 9.6.

Ice Cats: 61.7
Redliners: 36.9

The fat lady has already begun to sing as the Ice Cats increased their lead to 24.8. In third place overall, the Cats are now just 4.6 points shy of the front runner. Carey Price was brilliant once again, improving to 4-0 with a 25 save shutout. The Redliners meanwhile have little to smile about as they remain stuck in 11th place.

Misconducts: 58.2
SC Cobras: 43.4

Marc-Andre Fleury was the best Misconduct on Thursday as the slow-starting netminder recorded his first win of the season, a 22 save shutout. All told the Misconducts nabbed 8.4 and now sit 14.8 rows in front of the Cobras. GM Murphy's 9th place squad bagged 5.0 on the penultimate day of the week and are now lodged 22.9 behind the first place Pipes.
