WEEK 24 (thru Friday) Empty

WEEK 24 (thru Friday) ZhdvRXC
Lead by team captain Claude Giroux, the Boulder Flyers enter the final day of the season a mere 10.1 points better than John Tavares and his Wild Ducks.

The Battle for the FHL Cup
All 30 NHL teams take to the ice on the final day of the season, thus a 10.1 point lead is by no means safe. With Vladimir Tarasenko on the shelf and Rick Nash reportedly ailing, the Boulder Flyers will be leaning heavily on their defense, specifically Erik Karlsson and Oliver Ekman-Larsson. Devon Dubnyk is scheduled to start while Jaroslav Halak may rest as he tended goal on Friday. The Wild Ducks are looking for big performances from Alexander Ovechkin and John Tavares; two players with a lot of motivation as they are currently battling for the NHL scoring lead. Steve Mason should start in goal for the Ducks; Mike Smith's status remains unclear. Either or, one of the closest races in the 22 year history of the league comes to an end on Saturday.

"This is no place for a nervous person." - Mickey Redmond

The Battle for 3rd Place
The Ice Hogs enter the final day with a 24.7 lead over the 4th place Polar Bears; a 29.3 advantage over the 5th place Misconducts. With all 30 teams in action there are a lot of points to be had so you can't count either team out - especially with the Ice Hogs banged up; Pacioretty, Nugent-Hopkins and Chara all hurt or hurting. That said, you won't find many people, if any, betting against the Ice Hogs.

"Do you believe in miracles?" - Al Michaels

The Battle for the Laughing Bag
No contest here as the last place Ice Cats have the week's lowest score; a number that will place the Laughing Bag in the hands of GM Cutshall at next year's draft.

"D'oh!" - Homer Simpson

Boulder Flyers: 58.7
Polar Bears: 42.9

A win would grant the Boulder Flyers at least a share of 2nd place H2H money ($10.00). If the Flyers lose and the Wild Ducks win, GM Collard would get all the cash. If both the Flyers and Ducks lose, the Bears would win a third of the $10.00 pot.

Wild Ducks: 43.9
Ice Hogs: 38.8

Bluliners: 36.5
Timbers: 29.8

Ice Cats: 20.6
Misconducts: 63.8

Redliners: 34.0
Dream Team: 29.3
